i mean i don't think noobsaaur is a prince but if you check his Gears post history, it is basically him ONLY talking about how rad the multiplayer is. And I don't know about that other guy and his opinion on whether this looks worse than Ryse, but guess what... PS4 exclusives haven't been that hot so far. Is that really a controversial opinion?
Can't we just critique what they're actually saying instead of plunging knee deep into this same cycle each time
I only people want people to stop drawing consclusions on the gameplay from 4 seconds of gifs. Like I said before what if the first gameplay of Last of Us was Joel running to cover and shooting 2 guys in a 2 second gif, should we believe that was the entire game?

There's several reasons he constantly gets called out in 95% of the threads, but this thread is about next-gen mustaches and flat london bricks.
It's a leak, I doubt it was really 'chosen to represent the gameplay'. And again, it's like 2 seconds long.

The gifs will hide flaws because of their size. There are also some effects that won't really make a difference in a static screenshot but make a ton of difference while you're playing, so a gif is more accurate to represent that.
Whether you think it's good or bad, it's being judged. And that's fine. It's just as valid for people to think it will be amazing based on gifs as it is for people to think it looks bad.

No, it's not as hype.
I think the most hype Uncharted ever got was the Uncharted 2 E3 2009 showing with the helicopter. No Sony first/second party game has gotten that reaction since then with the possible exception of The Last of Us E3 12' showing. Coincidentally, Uncharted 4 has a good opportunity to wow @ E3 14' and maybe this game too.
Someone else mentioned the rest ( 30 fps, no multiplayer ). But really it's because of 800p

While this doesn't look like my kind of thing, I just want to take a moment to say how impressed I am with Ready At Dawn and am glad that they are being given a AAA budget to develop a new IP. After years of being relegated to the handheld "ghetto" it is great to see them get to create a high profile PS4 game. 
This looks like any of the other dozens of third person cover shooters from the previous gen, only with better graphics. I know, it's a 5 second gif and none of the others show much more gameplay wise besides QTEs and cinematics. But, if I were making videos/gifs to showcase a new game, I would not show a generic run to cover + pop and shoot.

To be fair, at this point having a shooter that doesn't let you use environmental cover would be ass-backwards.
