The Order: 1886 leaks - new gifs, screenshots!

The chains on the shoulders are just textures. :/

That's always been a pet peeve of mine, I really hoped it would change this gen.

Thanks and heading to the page now. The game looks absolutely incredible from the screenshots and if the gifs are any indication I may cheer loudly in the office when the previews are out.

Tell the team GAF loves RAD games and I'm sure I'm not alone in saying we all are just counting down the days to get our hands on it.

From the small bits if info I have seen, the few screenshots, and the 3 seconds of GIFS I think you guys are doing fantastic work and have a ton of potential here. Well done!

Can't wait to wake up tomorrow to GAF 504'd due to even more awesome spewing from the full gameplay reveal.

One question if you can, are these videos being uploaded to PSN? I personally love watching vids off PSN in full HD on my 1080p TV. Gives me a glimpse of how it will look on my TV compared I seeing it on my
Phone or monitor.
 
Man I really hope Ready at Dawn gets picked up by Sony, only because im worried they will get picked up by someone else first....

watching the gametrailers vid, i think andrea has implied that sony wanted to purchase them for the longest time but they have always said no.

Well Sony needs to shell out some money and make it happen. RaD looks poised to become the next SSM or ND in my eyes. We will see how the story and game turned out but from a technical level they look to be top tier developers right up there with those guys.

Sony doesn't really do one big release a year, though. They've launched Killzone and Uncharted in the same year. And GT and GoW in another. With several titles like Infamous, LBP and Motorstorm in between.

We shouldn't worry too much abou whether its flagship or not.

I think they probably have exclusivity contracts with them lined up for The Order IP, at least.

Hopefully they have a cover model like in 8 Days where the players positioning and orientation change as they move between different types and heights of cover. Hopefully this will really shine as the cover players take refuge behind is deformed by gunfire, the player will automatically adjust themselves until either the incoming fire stops or the covers gone

Probably because Andrea thinks they can raise their stock first, then sell high for even just part ownership if that makes sense.

Now that Sony is focusing on PS, I hope they acquire more of the upcoming devs like RAD. But I don' think an ~80 person team in Ready at Dawn will match SSM publishing and development efforts anytime soon.

A billion games with SSM logo on them came out last gen. Its a lot really.

No one can SSM is most likely their biggest studio,they help out on a ton of games.

Suckerpunch has 100 people or so and that game looks fantastic as well,the smaller devs are flexing their muscle right now.
 
If this game is anything like Gears I will be happy. I always enjoyed the gameplay but absolutely hated that story. It was never really that good in my opinion and 3 felt off. This looks like it will have the gameplay and story not to mention it looks really freaking pretty. I'm in :P

And when it have it, some people will be mad that they wasted resources and time in a MP, saying that not every single game needs to have a MP on it.
I for one, i'm more than happy with a single-player game.

This would probably happen but if you really think about it, they probably spent a lot of time and resources just creating the engine. RAD would probably have way less work to do since they don't have to build the ground work, thus giving them resources for multiplayer.
