I'm not a tech-head, but can someone please clarify to me why these new consoles aren't able to handle recent, even older games at 1080p and 60fps? Or in this case, even 1080p @ 30fps? Is it because of hardware limitation or because of the developer? If the PS4 can't run this game or Tomb Raider in 1080p and 60fps... I dunno, it just feels to me like both consoles aren't as "good" as they've been touted. The PS4 does have good architecture from what I know, but I fail to see why it can't run a game like this or the aforementioned Tomb Raider better than it does.

I'm assuming many factors are at play here and I apologize in advance for any possible ill-informed comments that I may have just made, it just seems a little weird to me that the PS4 for example is struggling to run recent games at optimal settings. I'm asking because it seems like I should be lowering my expectations and standards from these consoles.

It confuses me how 900p can make someone miss out of the game. You probably can't even tell the difference on a TV.

You have to understand that people have got reputations to uphold. what if their family and friends knew they were playing a 900p or heaven forbid a 792p game what would they think of them?

They did, but that was a game that was being worked on up to the last moment to make sure it could get out early for next gen. This game was already originally planned for next gen and has already had several lengthy delays. I think if they were going to raise the resolution they would have done it already, for any version of the game.

. What a joke. From what I've seen Infamous murders this game visually and runs in full HD, so Ubisoft optimization in full effect!
