I remember the US pre-order bonuses from Gen V being really lame, like some wall clingies, or something.
I got groudon and kyogre collectible coins way back at the original release of these games, and a lugia figure with soulsilver.Have mainline Pokemon games ever had preorder bonuses?
That's the only reason why I haven't preordered yet. Figured after more info was revealed, they might reveal some preorder bundles. I don't necessarily mean in game content, but just anything extra.
Just had an interesting idea. You go to fight Liza and Tate, the psychic gym leaders who fight you in a double battle. Combined they only have 2 weak pokemon then Solrock and Lunatone. Then they both mega evolve. It could work as it's one mega per trainer. If not then I'd want the e4 to atleast use megas.
Would it be impossible for GF to add a custom music option for battles? Does the 3DS even have a way to upload custom music?
It has an SD Card, so I guess it wouldn't be impossible to import music granted that what you're trying to add fits in whatever format/size requirements there may be.
The problem is that considering the Swapnote scare from a few months ago, Nintendo might be afraid that people will upload inappropriate/"offensive" audio as music and use it during online battles. If it ever does happen, expect it to be limited to single player.

Diamond and Pearl gave you a big ol' stylus with either Dialga or Palkia on top when you preordered, iirc
If your Palkia snaps in half, you may need to consult a doctor. They looked nice but they were way too fragile. The Dialga on my stylus broke off before I even beat Cynthia the first time.
I rather suspect they'll be using the buffed Emerald rosters rather than the lacking Ruby and Sapphire ones. Tate and Liza with Solrock, Lunatone, Xatu and Claydol is significantly more challenging than just with Solrock and Lunatone.

I got a tin case with Rayquaza on it with some random crap in it, when I pre ordered Emerald from Gamestop. But that was like a decade ago, so maybe it was just a special edition?
A new trademark has been discovered as being registered by Nintendo, GameFreak and Creatures Inc. in Japan. This trademark is for デルタエメラルド Delta Emerald. In addition to this, in the US, at the same time as the Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire domains were registered, one was registered for Pokémon Delta Emerald. This trademark registration is not likely to be indicative of a game release, but rather covering bases in a similar manner to the registration of Pokémon Water Blue back in 2004 and numerous other Pokémon names over the past 10 years including Pokémon Grey. We'll bring more as it comes

I hope this is just a means of covering bases. I'll be severely disappointed if Pokemon Omega Ruby and Aqua Sapphire are based on their respective original versions, instead of the superior Emerald.
It's nothing.
They trademarked WaterBlue, etc etc
It's just to protect their ip
Of course, as I said, I hope it's just a means of covering bases. I want these remakes to be based on the Emerald version however and I hope this trademark doesn't indicate otherwise.
whoops didn't see that, it's almost 530am here and I haven't slept yet

CD and DVD ?
maybe new movie ?
game on wiiU ?
Did they register some trademark at the time of HG/SS's release? I mean, Water Blue makes "sense" because they might also have been unsure on whether to release Leaf Green as Green or Blue at the time.
That said, I also think it's just a way of covering bases. It wouldn't be a very good idea to split a remake into three different games with another version being released later.
As others said, it means nothing as far as another game goes. What it does mean is that we have Delta to work off of for speculation for what Rayquaza's new form/mega looks like.
