Wait, why is this expected with this game? The other thread has it in the title but I wondered why. Who is begging for this?

Full disclaimer, this is a serious question, and not trying to derail the game.

So far we've had "Are we suuuuuuuuuure this is PS4 exclusive?" and "this is MS' game" jokes. Which are the first steps.


But it doesn't change the fact that this game will be sweet. If it came for a console I didn't own, I'd buy that console. That's how hyped I am.

Man, totally hyped for this game. I haven't even beat Dark Souls II yet, but I'm definitely craving Demon Souls 2. Demon Souls is def my favorite out of the Souls series. (I do still love Dark Souls too though)

Edit: And I can't believe people are already complaining about screen tearing. This game has NOT even been announced yet...no reason to bring out the pitch forks so early.

I don't think it's a whip. It looks like a scythe blade on a stick of the same length connected by a hinge. The character can "snap" it out, possibly locking it into a longer weapon.

Mark my words, when people actually get to play this in 2015 there is no way it'll live up to the hype some are building for it. Based on some posts I'd guess Jesus is slam dunking out of computer monitors and tvs while the Space Jam classic "I believe I can Fly" by R. Kelly is booming.

There has been what feels like 10-15 seconds of footage, and people are talking about boners for pages? Y'all really do need slam dunking Jesus.

While that's an interesting perspective, and certainly valid, they could do that far more effectively by just putting out a three second teaser of him walking through the fog door, they'd still catch every Souls fan, and they wouldn't have had people looking at shitty leaked screens or spoiled the actual reveal trailer.

Yeah that is what is odd about it. On one hand 20 seconds isn't really much, but on the other hand 20 second is kind of a lot to give out.

What difference does that make?
After seeing this, will anyone skip the proper reveal trailer like "i saw some shitty webms, i'm good!"

If this was a proper leak we would have the trailer on our hands already, not little snippets. Not saying it's all a conspiracy and it's a controller leak, but if I had the original trailer on my hands and wanted to leak something, I wouldn't be trolling people like this.

If this was on purpose, it's working. The other thread exploded like firecrackers with just a couple of screenshots. This one seems to be going the same way. People who usually skip E3 might actually pay attention know that they know this game is "real". It works for everyone, can't understand why Sony would be upset. Free publicity, it gets the hype going and when it's finally revealed in all its glory with a clean IQ and SOUND it will still amaze us all.

It could easily be as good as people think. If it's as good as Demon's Souls I think most people will be very satisfied.
