So what is the logic of Group B match before Group A?
It's the same with groups D, F and H, all play before C, E and G respectively.

My best guess is that most of the matches of groups A, C, E and G were played before matches of groups B, D, F and H, so there is a little advantage for the teams that play first, as in, they can play thinking of what is the most convenient result, so the last match the order is reversed, this way it tries to equalize that advantage.

It doesn't matter in this case, there is nothing defined in group A.

I'm still sick to my stomach. I couldn't sleep at all last night. I just want to wake up and it be Thursday 11 AM. I'm so damn nervous how this is going to end for us...

Sports man. It seems like it doesn't matter. American Football, Basketball, Baseball, now Soccer. It always seems to be heart break and sleepless nights. From the highest high to the lowest low. Swear it's gonna be the death of me one day. I had to get up at 0315 for work today too.

Hum... I think those 3 are better than him, but it's debatable.

They were last season with Moyes and injuries combining to make it a disappointing year for him (maybe not Falcao, he's had a dreadful year), but he seems to be back to his best under Van Gaal. As a Liverpool fan, I can only hope it doesn't last long :D

If players get bonusses for a win depends on what their FA decides. Though it's more a case of how much they'll get rather than if they'll get anything. If the Dutch win the world cup the players will get a bonus of 270.000 euros each.

We lost in the last minute to Argantina, there's no hope of climbing the group stage, but we still have top defending going for us which is nice.

yea those definitely look like surgical incisions..

Bradley needs to get cut, he really is a terrible, sub-par player IMO

He's had two shitty games. That doesn't erase what he's done before. He's not washed up by any stretch.

Folks need to get a grip. He's usually one of our best. Isn't he hurt right now a bit to boot?

USA are going to go through as Ghana and Portugal will draw. They can beat Belgium in the round of 16, and would likely go on to face Argentina in the quarters, another team that has looked far from great. I think Argentina would get the win, but it still makes me sick to my stomach seeing the USA in the quarters.

I can't see Ghana-Portugal ending scoreless, both teams have to go for it, and even if Portugal scores one, they're going to have to keep going for it , and prob want at least 3. Also Ghana would be wise to go for it as well, because what if USA pulls a shock score? Ghana would be out if USA wins 1-0 due to GD.

Germany could probably afford to take chances, the USA can't, that's why I think there won't be any collusion- I suspect the USA goes full bunker and plays super-patient/scared, the Germans let them but will try to score when they can. Problem is playing scared will cost the US and they lose 1-0 or 2-0.

Van Gaal is a better coach.

The same Spain that lost 5-1 to us?
The same, they were very confident before the match, a lot of crow eating, very fun thread.

What will happen today is that Robben will receive a strong foul at the beginning of the match. We all know that he is a coward (pecho frio, that's why Pellegrini kicked him out of Real Madrid when he coached there, and yes, it was Pellegrini who asked him out, even if he said he didin't later), so that will take him out of the match, he will not dare to make a run again; after that he will be of no concern to us and will present no danger. Remember that we play southamerican soccer, not european, not australian.

Watch the match, mark my words, it will be no casuality when it happens. Pierna fuerte to Robben.

Being on top when sorting by "attempted clearances/completed clearances" doesn't paint the greatest picture... >_>

Or maybe you're underestimating Algeria and Russia? Algeria won their next game 4-2 and Russia finished above Portugal in the qualifiers.

Algeria beat SK who terrible and drew against Russia. Not knocking the teams Algeria played great against Korea but in these group matches they kind of not looking strong.

Belguim just not showing confidence in skills at moment they good players but this weak first half then only when get subs in 2nd half wake up not making them look good.

I miss Croatia-Mexico :(

Hodgson, you absolute dickhead. Lampard is starting against Costa Rica when it's dead rubber for us, his last cap, and we have 3 centre midfielders who could do with the international experience in Henderson, Barkley and Wilshere. There couldn't be a better time to try those 3 out in a 4-3-3

Johnson-----Cahill----Jagielka-----Shaw

----------------Henderson----------------------
---------------------------Wilshere--------------

---------------------Barkley----------------------

---------Sturridge------------------Sterling---
----------------------Rooney---------------------

Done. And Johnson's only in there because Jones is not a rightback. Playing Lampard is a sentimental waste of time

As a futbol noob, why is Spain and Australia even playing? Its just a friendly match at this point right?

'Cause it'd be unbelivably shameful (and a WC first) if a team decided to leave the tournament, forfeit the game and lose by default. They must play that last group stage game.

Brazil should destroy Cameroon hopefully

Mexico should at least win by 1.

Netherlands whether it draws or wins, wins the group

Wtf is with the scheduling now. It has been perfect up until this point with one match kicking off every 3 hours. Now there are two on at the same time, twice a day?

BLEH!

It depends on the Goal differential

If Mexico looses Croatia would go in automatically and the only way Mexico could go through with a loss is if Brazil looses to Cameroon and have a better goal difference than them.

In simple terms if Mexico looses we're out for sure. If we tie or win we're through.
