Thank you!

Pretty much, except I'd change it to "1-3" players to story mission since they're designed to be solo-able.
ah, yeah I assumed that.
I havent played that strike Mission yet, does that mean that you can only Play them with exactly 3 Players?
cool.
Good Post.
The hunter is currently the most rewarding class IMO, especially for the more solo player. Everything requires timing and aim and it's extremely satisfying when you play well as one. And like you said, when you master it you can dominate. But that domination is earned.
The other classes seem like theyre only balanced with PvE in mind, and they excel there. They do have their perks in PvP, but right now they're just being exploited. It will probably get worse when the Warlock starts buffing teammates and the Titan starts shielding cap zones.
And before we declare Blade Dancer OP, it looks like you'll still be able to kill them while they use it. It's basically a golden melee. Again, earned vs given.
Decided to do the Strike with my level 6 hunter; dear god the two people the game paired me with were dumb as thee fuck. Dudes died CONSTANTLY; I've run that damn strike so much and I rarely die to Devil Walker and I have never died to Septis.
What the fuck is with people running TOWARDS a herd of enemies as if the closer they got the more damage they do?! I watched these two guys do this constantly and bite it each time. Then during Devil Walker they kept shooting the damn hull, completely ignoring the legs. I got tired of it and left the game; I just couldn't.

Got home from holiday on the 19th and was finally able to play.
Went Exo Titan again...just feels right.
I don't know if this discussion has already been had but I find it interesting being able to read the stats for the sub-classes unlocked at Level 15, although in some ways doing so raises as many questions as answers.
I was particularly interested in the Titan's Defender sub class as the ability to create a shield with Ward of Dawn is instinctively more attractive to me than the Fist of Havok. From what I've gathered, the shield itself is indestructable BUT it only reduces damage received, it doesn't block it. Also it's duration is unknown but extendable with the right passive skills. The upgrades to Ward of Dawn grant either a shield or bonus weapon damage for passing through it.
The Titan also seems to get some fairly ridiculous boosts from kills with Disintegrate, the Defender's melee ability. A kill with it creates a "Force Barrier" which absorbs incoming damage. Upgrades to this will greatly increase your reload and ready times for weapons, allow any kill the chance to generate orbs of light or allow the Force Barrier to continuously recharge (this is the one I don't understand in theory.)
I know I'll definitely use Defender over Striker in PVE but I wonder how Ward of Dawn will stand up in PVP...
Still, interesting to pore over the stats like a hog for truffles.
I wanted to show my Hunter. I tried to make his head look like a Jack O'Lantern because I'm a huge Halloween nerd.
In experienced players will play this game.
People with mental handicaps and learning difficulty will play this game.
Physically handicapped people will play this game.
You shouldn't be so quick to asume the player is on an even footing, I know it's frustrating but I try not to get too frustrated when someone in my team doesn't seem to know what to do or elarn from their mistakes. You never know who's on the other side of that connection.
Anyway, I have no idea why Bungie neglecte to include a way to communicate with your team. I understand not wanting voice chat to prevent abuse, but some kind of set voice options (re-group, focus fire here, etc...) would be a godsend.
Okay do we have any ETA for the maintenance?
Can you see how many hours you've played the beta?![]()
I've already put 20 hours into this game![]()
Speaking of skill, I noticed a skill that says you could seal that subclass. Anyone know what that means?

The thirst for space magic.Almost 2,500 posts and it's only been 20 hours .. in an OT2 .. geez.

Really interested to see all the negative feedback about PvP. I thought I might just have gone off console shooters, but with so many complaints I think there's something about Destiny that doesn't quite work yet in competitive multiplayer.
For me the main problems are the feeling of randomness and the pace of the game. These could probably be improved with some basic settings tweaks: reduce respawn time, reduce the amount of special ammo on the map, maybe tweak damage down a little bit.
I would also guess that 3v3 is going to feel a lot more tactical than 6v6 does. And maybe part of the beta is going to be fixing the latency ceiling for matchmaking, because I've had some really terrible ~300ms shot registration delay that ruins games.
Still, I really hope something about PvP is changed before release. Looking forward to the Bungie weekly updates over the next couple of months.

I don't see how this will effect the story at all. I don't think a game needs to go out of its way to ensure the gameplay falls directly in line with the story, or to strive to be realistic to provide immersion.
If they wrote the best sci-fi story we've ever seen and linked it via cutscenes with specific enemy enounters tying in to focal points of the narrative, that's all they'd really need to do to provide a link, it wouldn't cheapen the effect just because the enemies respawn like an mmo.
I don't think it matter much anyway, I think Destiny's story is going to be in the background.
That's it for now. There's a mission you can see on the Moon but you can't access it.Really enjoying the beta. This might shape up to be one of my most anticipated games ever. Quick question though, are there any more story related quests to do after finishing in Old Russia?

I hope we get to play that mission in the beta. Why else would it be there?
Another strike mission would be nice too. I dunno how many times I done that mission.

I didn't have a good first impression of PvP, but the more i played it the more comfortable i got and ended up having a blast. Some things irk me about it, like the tanks and just vehicle OPdness. But the game is different a lot of the times, and specially when you have skilled players involved.
I do agree that the game needs a lot of tuning, but i believe so far in Bungie. I am hoping that they will release a great game, that gets lots of updates soon enough.
Also... wanted to ask, anyone know on ps4 whats up with the deluxe upgrade and then season pass? are they both the same?
Only thing that has ever pissed me off in multiplayer games is the shotgun. I rarely use it ever but in Destiny I feel like I need to. For securing kills on these small maps.
Bungie said this is the last time we will see two Interceptors on the Moon.
I think Warlock's Nova is ok but Fist of Havok is quite too strong.
Warlock's Nova has cast animation that people can react and kill Warlock before he unleash nova bomb but Fist of Havok animation is very quick and there is no way you can kill Titan before he land that skill. (actually, you can but the chance is very rare)
However, the real advantage is that warlock and titan do not lose their light power if they haven't land the skill. This is what should be fixed IMO. (and nerf Titan's animation a bit imo)
where do you get this?imo... Uncommon Cydonia AR3 with all upgrades.

Did you also look at the starting stats for that subclass though? . Extra SquishyI think fundamentally the PVP is solid but it just needs to be tightened up here and there. My main problem with it is the aim assist and latency. I think the map design is good, the special/heavy ammo pickup is a good system and the way the class setup carries straight over from PVE works well.
A few things concern me; for example, the Hunter's Bladedancer sub class has numerous skills that allow cloaking, including crouched and not moving for a certain amount of time. Last game I saw this in was Killzone 3 and it just made snipers incredibly irritating. the same sub class has a blink-teleport + melee hybrid which sounds a lot like the Commando perk from MW2 (albeit with a cooldown.) So overall an annoying and inevitably popular sub class for Hunters in PVP.
Having read a lot of the previous posts I'm curious as to your opinion on Destiny as a single player experience? With the emphasis on multiplayer do you think solo play will we a workable proposition or a tacked on experience?

It's not the best, I hope Bungie manages to make it more playable in PvP, maybe the higher ranks will have better handgun's perhaps.so i finally got a Uncommon hand cannon in Devils strike and went to go try it out in PVP. I'm just going to assume that weapon type just not viable in Crucible right now seeing as nobody uses them and I had a hell of a time getting kills with it.
