Twitch chat comes through sometimes:

Robbie Williams contributed a lot of joy and happiness and positivity to this world we live on. I'm glad he was able to make so many people feel so much happiness. This is a good reminder that no matter how much fame or money you have sometimes it's still too hard to ask for the help you need. We're all people here... rip in pepperonis sir. pls copy pastarino cappuccino

Mork from Ork was one of my favorite TVB characters when I was a child. First appeared in a Happy Days episode, then Mork & Mindy after that.

My mother and I started cursing when we saw the news. RIP man. You're were one of the greatest comedians ever.

The weird thing, before the news broke, a channel was showing What Dreams May Come.

RIP Robin.

I thought about this. Makes even more sense now. RIP :(

This fucking sucks, loved him and his work. :(

Wow, suffered from depression, poor guy. Never would have guessed.

Holy fuck, I just don't know what to say...poor Zelda and the rest of his family and friends (I hope people respect their privacy) ;_; Nintendo will probably have something up soon, because of the OoT3D commercial.

Depression sucks, especially when you're in such a high-profile, stressful life. I am happy I got through it, but there are so many people who sadly can't break out of it. Rest in peace, Mr. Williams, thanks for all the awesome movies and laughs. I'm gonna watch Good Morning Vietnam on Netflix as a tribute.

What a shitty thing for a father to do.
Dude seriously?

Burn in hell.
Bro your not helping.

Everyone needs to stop quoting those stupid kids on Twitter, stupid kids are being stupid, the man just died let's just remember him as the great actor and comedian he was and give our condolences to his family. Don't know about you guys but I'm going to watch Mrs. Doubtfire and Jumanji tonight.

Damn.

I don't mean this to sound bad, but if it really was suicide, part of me isn't surprised. Robin Williams always had a piercing fierceness to his comedy. It's what made his personality mesmerizing. But I believe one could tell that, like some great comedians, he understood darkness very well.

The roles where he played a character who embraced it, laughing in the face of death, in order to fight against it and make a stand, came across as a little too real.

There's no shame in losing a battle when one has fought so well for so long.

His wife put out a statement:

"I lost my husband & my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin's family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. [We] hope the focus will not be on Robin's death, but on the countless moments of joy & laughter he gave to millions."

Holy fuck no :(. I had no idea he was having issues either.

I was thinking recently about how as I've gotten older celebrity deaths that actually effect me personally are starting to happen. When I was much younger I couldn't really connect the same way when there was major celebrity deaths; like I remember when Johnny Carson for example died it really upset my parents, but I just wasn't of an age where I had any sort of real connection with celebrities of that era. Now over the last year deaths of celebrities I actually grew up with like this are starting to actually hit.

Wow, that fucking sucks. RIP man.

Can't believe it, I'm sure most of us practically grew up with him in all those movies in the 90s.

I can't understand how someone so funny could be depressed: (

So many memories of laughing my ass off....

RIP

Jim Carrey is another comedian who suffers/suffered from depression. I agree that it's hard to imagine people who are so funny to be so unhappy in their real lives.

Jesus, man, this fucking sucks. I feel so sad now.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the crazy ones being cancelled. :(

Sad Day..
He strikes me as someone that needs to keep a busy mind and having a lot of free time suddenly might have affected him. But who knows

Definitely the hardest I've ever taken a celebrity death...

I just realized I saw him in the trailer of the new Night at the Museum film. It didn't even register with me that Teddy Roosevelt was Robin Williams because he's been such a fixture in TV and movies literally for the entire span of my life.
