I feel like people need more context for DDP yoga before this happens. For anybody unaware, DDP is a former professional wrestler. Roughly 15 years ago he had a tag team match with Jay Leno as his partner, another with Karl Malone as his partner (with Dennis Rodman as an opponent), and later lost the WCW title match to David Arquette. He's since become a motivational speaker/yoga DVD guru.


None of the people mentioned after DDP are professional wrestlers who took the name of a famous person, just in case you thought there might be a small level of sanity to any of this.

I feel like all of this information will better help some people understand why Dan Ryckert was so willing to buy the DDP Yoga program.

You might have misunderstood. Those were the most prestigious matches available at the time for WCW(as a side note: Yes, this should entice you to go find out how stupid WCW actually got in its last few years). The David Arquette thing was a cross promotion with his movie at the time, the Jay Leno match got WCW attention on the Tonight Show, and the Rodman/Malone match put them on ESPN.

This doesn't make any of it less ridiculous, but he was in main events those entire times. I am pretty sure Hulk Hogan was on the opposing team in the Leno and Malone/Rodman matches.

The gb pog fad is probably dead by now, but I found my pogs so I'm gonna post some of them.

I guess series 2 of the pogman pogs was the new thing when I got into pogs, because I seem to have collected a fair bunch of them. Also two metal chupa chups slammers.

I also have a whole bunch of "official slammer whammers" pogs, which are mostly shit (relatively speaking. I realise they're pretty much all shit). These are perhaps the dumbest of the bunch. Wonder who the creative genius was behind "Alien Dude".

Lenticular pogs. Some are slammer whammers, some are chupa caps that I assume came with lollipops, though I likely won or traded for them.

I have no idea where I got these. They're blank on the back, but one or two just have "made in taiwan" typed on them. One is from sailor moon, two according to google are from YuYu Hakusho, no idea who the little guys are at the top right.

It's not GB content, but what about Danny's pigeon dating sim series? I can't find the full streams on YT or GS, just highlights and the like.

First two are from the main game, chasing after Shuu. Then it's the Holiday Star expansion with an episode per video (except for the two part finale!)

I think those types of promo ones are the most interesting now. Like, the ones that are directly linked with something very specifically from that era.

I've never seen this, even though I've heard Danny talk about his pigeon dating sim experience. I know what I'm doing tonight with the absence of a GB livestream.
 
Cara's good people, and I give her a lot of credit for responding to my half-baked, kind of silly tweets to her in the past. I wish I was friends with her.

There's a really good bit in spookin' where pat screams at the sight of his own reflection, and then carries on without really addressing it. At least I think it was just his reflection, I didn't go back and check.
