I'm thinking the Xbox One should at least do 500K in November. I don't think the Wii U will even get to half of that for that month (even with Smash Bros.). We'll see though.

How are people feeling on Xb1 ability to outsell ps4 when MCC hits? Does Sony have any compelling exclusive that month? LBP3? Would that be enough?

You never know. The GTA V bundle got the PS3 to outsell the 360 for the first time in years, and even the original Xbox had months where it outsold the PS2.

If the Xbox One does beat the PS4 in November then I don't think it will be by that much (less than 100K). I feel that November and December are the only possible months in which the Xbox One could beat the PS4 for NPD but again -- that's a possibility.
could still be riding a wave off of Destiny, I also think a decent amount of people will pick up a PS4 for call of duty, despite the Xbox One bundle. maybe GTA depending on when that comes out?

Hahaha, that's not a bad idea in all honesty.
I think some fans really are waiting for the WiiU's "Nintendogs + Brain Age combo revival" moment, and that's just not a logical thing to hope for at this point in time.
Yoshi has the potential to build momentum (like DKC), but that really depends on how Nintendo is going to handle it's marketing and branding; I think Cap Toad and Xenoblade can go either way really.
Splatoon has the potential ("AAA", new/unique premise, kid/family/casual appeal, online multiplayer focus, etc.) like most new IPs to do really well, but it's quite likely that this hamstrung console will kill this possible franchise in it's crib.
Mario Maker could be big depending on how it turns out, and how much power Nintendo is putting behind it in terms of marketing and branding.
But...yeah...other than that there aren't many true heavy hitters left for them to roll out. Unless I'm missing something of course.

Yeah, I think TP had an impact, but the situation seems a lot different now. Not being a launch title, and on unattractive hardware, etc.
For Smash? I'd need to see other Smash openings, but I still say it's impossible. It'd have to release around Christmas WW, have a bundle WW, and be the equivalent of $50-100 cheaper with a just announced pricecut WW. And the 3DS version to not exist...
It'd be great to wrong though.

I don't think it will outsell Smash, but it will probably move roughly the same amount of systems
People need to get over their hangups with exclusives. PS4 will outsell XB1 in Nov due to COD and other 3rd party games.

Honestly I think COD AW might decide the winner of November or have the greatest effect on sales at least. I believe MS has a comarketing deal with them so that combined with MCC is probably MS's best chance this year not to mention the bundles they're throwing out there. I think I'll be favoring MS for November but always willing to change my opinion as we get closer to that time

Basically, it's almost certain that less XB1's were sold in July than June because June was a 5 week tracking period whereas July is only a 4 week tracking period
More important is whether or not the weekly sales are higher or lower than that

Wii U missed its best chance in May, now it would have to snipe it on a random summer month to have a chance

This gen was over before it began, in terms of NPD.
Despite the beef they may get, Sony and MS know how to address their problems, whether over the course of a gen or at least when the next gen arrives.
Nintendo? There's a good chance that 75% of what is "wrong with Nintendo" will be present in the next gen.

Brawl did 2.7 Million in just the US in its opening month, in March.
Remember, we are talking about a game for the Wii U.
Smash on the Wii did well but at the same time, the Wii sold almost triple to what the Xbox 360 sold during some months last gen -- Very large user base helped.
