That 60fps footage was excellent. I am glad they are committing to 60fps with Halo 5, anything less would be a disappointment.
Didn't frankie also say H2A wasn't a thing...?

wow!
such lies!
much deceit!
so stinkles!
but maps, yeah...
Apparently they may be making Coag with UNSC style bases, so there's that.
Read carefully. Everything in that response was true.

yeah, language can be a very misleading toolP ask any politician, my friend
so, how many maps?

But Saber WAS working on it at that time, no? Or did they start later?previous quote said:but it is absolutely NOT H2A and nobody is currently working on any such thing.
Either way it's irrelevant. Even if everything he said was technically true, it encourages people to extract any possible meaning they can from his statements, in which case what he says can mean anything.Okay, no offense - really - just trying to understand:

Yeah I was just fuckin around anyways. Just meant that if Frankie said "no DLC"... It may not necessarily mean "no DLC."Either way it's irrelevant. Nobody was working on H2A?
Or they were working on MCC, just not H2A. Seems like a lot of work to throw together so quickly otherwise. Not in May of 2013.
Everything will be 1080p - SP and MP. The only thing they are not sure on yet is H2A SP.Is it confirmed 1080p60fps across or just for mp? Replaying all the campaigns in 1080p60fps is making me consider an Xbone.

Last I remember hearing the Halo 2 Anniversary campaign wasn't necessarily 1080p, but maybe they were able to get it up to that. I believe everything's 60fps though. Is it confirmed 1080p60fps across or just for mp? Replaying all the campaigns in 1080p60fps is making me consider an Xbone.

Yeah I have to just take your word on that... Bc I have no idea. That's why I said " it seems"...Halo CEA didn't start development until 2011. Since all the work for this collection is being split up between different teams it is very possible that development started after May 2013.
...yeah, along with "Rest assured your next Halo journey WILL begin in 2014.", I don't think misleading half-truths and technically true statements pass muster for me anymore.
I have no idea why you guys are doing this, but I don't like it. I imagine that most people don't mind, though -- I'd personally prefer the silent approach myself. I get the impression that this is the kind of statement that actively encourages the "leaker" culture.
I don't mean to sound combative, but the gaming industry has had its fair share of "this screenshot is technically from the game!" and other misleading happenings as a constant. I don't see why engage and encourage it, even if it appears harmless.
All are 1080p60 (Campaigns and Multiplayer), except Halo 2 Anniversary Campaign, still not confirmed what resolution it will be. I would love it if they gave the option to turn off the mode that allows you to see the old graphics if that is holding it back from being 1080p.
Look, you can either have industry people contribute meaningfully to the forum, or you can create a simple logic barrier that prevents them from ever commenting on anything at all. If I have to be vague, or cagey, that's just the way it is. And it really is either that or complete radio silence.
I won't apologize for it, I can't simply say "no comment" every time someone makes an accurate guess, or a fake leak contains a nugget of truth. However, if you (and I mean the community as a whole) feels that the level of clarity available is a negative, it's actually MUCH easier to not post at all.
It's not like I get paid extra to be insulted and mocked in here. I do it mostly to hurt Ramirez.

I believe that at Gamescom the H2A campaign was 921p or something in that ball park. Hopefully they can up that to 1080p, if not it's not a huge loss.
I support this.I do it mostly to hurt Ramirez.
