Actually, if you have a Best Buy near you, go ahead and feel the G502. If you like it, you might want to consider waiting for the G402. If you really like the grip on your Deathadder, then you could probably just get a Deathadder 2013.
I absolutely love the way the Deathadder feels but I don't want to go with razor again - I have a Blackwidow keyboard which is breaking and the Deathadder has broke a few times now, I just want to try a different brand.

Budget? Cause, the 5820K just launched. 6 cores/12 threads with 15MB of L3 Cache at 4+ GHz for $350. Plus, DDR4.

I looked at 5820k for a moment, but even though the CPU is just a little more there aren't any MOBOs under $200 and have to buy new RAM, another $200+. If someone is starting from scratch, then it might make sense, but considering 4790k puts up better benchmarks in gaming makes it a more cost effective upgrade. $400 upgrade vs $800 system replace.
Actually looking at the ASRock Z97M OC. Seems to have everything I need.

If you get a chance, I'd definitely suggest checking it out in person, especially next to the other boards.
They're great for the price, but man, that thin PCB does not reassure me in the least for an enthusiast setup.

My budget is around $1100, I think a rig with Haswell-E and 16GB DDR4 would be too expensive.
PCPartPicker reports a total of $1045.91 for that configuration. At this point, it's more a matter of optimizing the configuration with better components in the same price range, if they exist, rather than changing it entirely.

Just saying though:
This is one of those watershed platforms that's going to be relevant 6 years down the road, like the 920/X58.
And you can increase the clock speed to 4.0 GHz without even breaking a sweat. We're talking 50%+ improvement over the 4790 in terms of content creation.
However, I certainly understand wanting to save money. If you could link your PC Partpicker Build for editing, there's a number of good ways to shave off some money to best optimize without losing out on anything.

I spoke with the Corsair dude at PAX for at least an hour, and he did say that in terms of mice with good sensors (read: optical), that there is something in the pipeline that should be announced at the end of this month.
I basically begged him to take the M45 sensor and put it in the M65 body. He agreed, that is what should be done. He did come out and candidly say that the reason they can't do this is that most consumers buy mice based on the DPI # on the box. Putting the much more accurate and precise optical sensor in there limits that big DPI # in bold font.
But in terms of what is available now, you'd be looking at the Logi G402 (out in a few weeks), Steelseries Rival, Corsair M45, or CM Storm Spawn. Pick the one that best fits your grip type.
Rival = palm, M45 = hybrid, Spawn = claw. G402 is a weird one that seems to work best with small hands. I tried it for awhile at PAX and loved it, and I typically avoid Logi stuff.
For the keyboards, it doesn't matter at all. If you don't need the tenkey, I'd advise a Vortex Race:
Find one for $290 right now and you get a cookie.
I hate that that is the case with mice. Since it came out I've been wishing they would put a better sensor into the logitech g700, but nope, since the market for it is "gamerz" gotta have that high dpi laser.
Also for keyboards, the Choc Mini has a similar form factor to the Race and can be found a bit cheaper. I like the placement of the F keys, directly inline with the numbers, a bit more on it as well.

I don't know if it matters but before you go on, know that I'm not going to buy anything from those stores. Shipping costs would kill me, I have to buy things here where that $1160 becomes almost €1160 which is $1500. Great thing the 1:1 exchange, I love it .-.

Seriously weak for a new architecture if true. There's not a lot of wiggle room between the 780 and Ti to begin with, so t hat means it'd only be slightly faster than a 780, like 10%.
Guess I will be waiting for the Titan II

Sounds like the 980 is going to be disappointing in performance then. I was hoping a fairly big leap over the 780 and a smaller one over 780 Ti. Oh well, I guess I'll just settle for one that's about 10% increase in performance. I'm sure it will handle what I want the next 2 years just fine.

4.4 GHz > 4790, great PSU (that V series uses Seasonic guts), cooler that is quiet. All for less, while getting the benefits of a proper Z97 chipset.
Keep in mind, that kind of photoshoot is like looking at bullshots for an upcoming game. A case that inexpensive from NZXT is going to use some pretty cheap materials. Very different in person.wow, that is sexy..
That being said, looks to be an awesome deal at the price.
If you have a Microcenter nearby, you can not only get that deal but a 5820k for $299 and you save even more money if you bundle it with a motherboard. And the 4790k @ $279 has been that way for like 4 weeks now, I think.

For similar prices you can get up to a R9 270, so I'd look at more recent cards for that kind of money.
You should have just about enough space. This is the back of my CM690 II. Not sure how one screw wouldn't be visible, it's a pretty big cut out
...unfortunately I was right: notwithstanding the big 690 II cutout, my mobo (AsRock P67 Extreme 4) wasn't exposed enough and two out of four screw holes were hidden.
Had to unmount the mobo (and half the PC) to install the 212. :-(
Sucked really hard, but on a positive note it seems to work well (even if the mobo resetted to the factory setting of the bios when rebooting).
When I first rebooted there was still fan noise, but it seems to have stopped after a minute, more or less.

I don't know how good they are, but I think they are the cheapest option for people looking for more than a couple of fans. Not that I think that's what you should get, just throwing it out there.
Well I don't know if I'd want something with a dust filter that I have to unscrew. Half the convenience of them is simply being able to slide them in and out. Then again, I don't mind getting my PC out and cleaning it every 3 months or so.
As for the fans, they're sold out. And I really only need one. Thanks, though. I'm just not very knowledgeable about fans and figured this would be a good time to learn, since I need one. Really just want something that will last well that I can put in and forget. I turned my CPU overclock down back to stock while I'm down that one fan. Might be an overreaction, but I don't want to deal with messing with the overclock if it gets a bit too hot.

Go with the dust filter he linked to you, it's good. Here's one of the best fans you can get for casing. Best part is that it's cheap.

Think you've got our posts mixed up a little. I do need a fan, though! Thanks. Sold out there but I found it on Amazon for just a smidge more. Went with the Quiet version and having a little blue ring will fit well with the black/blue color scheme inside my PC.

I have a question for you guys. I tried buying a GTX 750TI and 4GB of RAM for my PC, but the shop clerk told me I'll also need a new power supply that's at least 550 Watts or more. Do I really need it?

Be sure that:
- You put on Thermal Paste
- CPU Cooler is properly alligned / attached
- RAM is secured in.
Edit: What's your Power Supply wattage right now? If it's below 500, there's a good chance you will need to get something better. In which case, ask here first.

Looks okay to me, but I noticed that your RAM DIMMs are right next to each other. In most cases they should have an empty slot inbetween (depending on the motherboard). For example bank 1 would be slot 2 and 4, bank 2 slot 1 and 3.
Check your motherboard's manual to make sure you put your RAM in the right slots.

If you're looking into getting a brand new higher end GPU when it releases, you'll definitely want something around 600-700w for the PSU.
I only jhave 2 RAM slots. I still cant figure out this problem
Try both ram sticks individually in both slots.
Oh, I see. I assume you tried booting with one RAM stick at the time. It's not easy trying to nail down a problem when you don't have the thing in front of you.
