Regarding the idea of Ilivia Wilde playing Catwoman: I don't know if she looks like Catwoman to me (she's definitely too skinny), but she'd definitely nail the sexiness part. I never thought much of her looks, but that scene she did in her (which is a beautiful movie I love for completely different reasons) was so hot I felt like I was discovering my body again.
Aaand I don't know if I should've shared that :|
Would I like Doom Patrol? Are there any strong female characters?
Yes, they are finally here!
I would definitely double dip if Doom Patrol got an Absolute Edition.

How much did these cost you? I'm curious.

Where do I apply for my membership card. I have been in these threads for ~3 months and am already close to filling up my first Billy bookshelf.

To who of you do I have to send my Comic bills?
Cheska, she is the ComicGAF accountant.
I hope the irony isn't lost on her...
At Baltimore Comic con, Greg Capullo will be done with his Batman run and will go back to his creator owned The Creech with Scott Snyder writing.
There has been no announcement of Scott leaving also. So that's 16 more issues with Greg Capullo art in them.
It's in the back of every damned DC book this month.

Tim! Tim! They're here
The used vol 4 has a bit more wear and tear then i'd like but I wanted to keep everything in HC form. Still the overall quality of the stuff that counts is in good shape
Time to clear my weekend schedule and move these to the top. My first foray into pure kirby stuff and forth world (beyond it showing up in other books i've read over the years)
Oh and the dogs are back from the groomers! Here are my dogs Vader and Obi Wan (Vader is the larger one)

I am there too, I just lurk mostly.

Yo, Johns' Superman is fucking great. I haven't been interested in a solo Superman book in a minute, but this is a great start. It's kind of shocking that this is the same dude writing the current Justice League, because that's pretty bad.
Funny how you blame me when I wasn't even into them a week ago. Hell, I don't even think that Funko thread was there a week ago. I almost bought the Xenomorph from Alien, today. Held off, though. I'll probably buy it at some point.
Messi is there for the pictures.
Honestly, though, compared to the sheer number of those things that exist, the amount I would consider owning is infintesimally small. I mostly like the non-human ones. Not the plain, boring ones with beady little eyes.
Punisher 13 cover, lol

I had to stage an intervention on myself because I was going crazy with floppies. Until I squash my backlog I'm on hiatus from floppies. Comics!

I do like the pictures, but I have a secret desire to own way too many of them. The dodgy paintjobs at times put me off buying loads of them. The recently announced Orange is the new black pops will most likely be mine. All of them, whoever they are. Also Firefly.
Thats pretty funny.
The read hard cash comes in Statues and Hardcovers/Omnibuses.
I ordered Vegeta, right? Amazon updated my order and told me I wouldn't get it until October and that it's technically sold out.
Cell is the only one I've seen in person so far. I keep patrolling Hot Topic waiting for Earth 2 Batman. They do seem to get regular shipments of them. They had Cake from Adventure Time, which I almost bought.
I have to buy this issue :O
Also, how hard is it to cancel an item on IST? It's too late now, but I saw the two Hellboy Library Editions I'm waiting on IST to get in for half off, so if I was certain I could've managed that I could've saved a few bucks and had them immediately.

What is the word on Stumptown by Rucka?
It's a Greg Rucka comic, Expect strong female protagonist and a good story.
Yup that's Rucka's M.O in almost any book he writes. Which is funny how the OT still seems spun up on the silly spider woman variant cover and the messages it sends. Meanwhile Ruck just kills it with book after book. Hell even when he takes on a male lead book he sneaks in a female main character (see Batmans bodyguard and his punisher run)It's a Greg Rucka comic, Expect strong female protagonist and a good story.
Will do! Just started vol 1. This first issue is pretty crazy so far. I'm liking it and it seems to hold up well. I am again reminded how comics back in the day always had to either end in an exclamation mark or question mark. Does anyone know when this changed? Heh everyone is very excited in comics back in the dayThat's a good looking stack of books. Let me know when you get two volume 2 and I'll try and read along with you (I reread volume 1 a couple weeks ago).
