I'm getting worried right now, where the fuck is Ness?

Lvl 9 was too much on some stages. Not because it was TOO hard (don't get me wrong, it's still really hard), but because making it to the end of the stage and dying, and then having to do the whole stage all over again was very discouraging. Morale killer to the extreme.

Dammit heath, remove the embed.
Yeah, it's not even the fact that it's really hard, it's the fact you fail once, pretty much all of your motivation to try again right away is completely gone.

.... you have no idea what he's talking about do you?

He's talking about the quick movements that are used with smash.
That's a good question as personally since Melee, I've burned the rubber off about 4-7ish right sticks from my Gamecube controllers. All of it due to playing smash.

I'm worried about the grip on the cp. My thumb slid off playing DKCR 3D constantly. No way am I not gonna slip slide all over the place in Smash.

Also, that was a solid boop.

Cleans, I guess:

Did all of the Old Page 300+ get wiped?
...the hell did you clowns do last night?

Don't forget to post the mouseover text!
"Thanks for the rescue, Mario, but those Toads just don't know how to do my nails right. I'll see you soon, Okay?"
Thank you! You have no idea how much it annoys me when people just plop the image in here. Do they even know there's a second punchline they omit by doing that?

Guys, r u feeling da hype?

I can't say as I find 4chan.org to be particularly hype, no.

Sonic is the worst. Fuck Sonic.
Casual reminder that this is the guy who seems to have a bone to pick with every third-party that touches Smash Bros. for whatever reason

Still debating if I go media dark until the US release or just say F**k it and keep online...
I really want to go dark, but that ain't happening.

It'll be too hard to ignore the coverage.

The true problem is your thumb isn't sticky enough. Find a power plant, get bit by a spider inside.

Wait a few days.

Boom, no more sliding off the pad.

Let me just say that if Rock Pikmin are not a part of Alph's alt simply as reskinned Purples, then not making him a separate clone will be the most bizzare thing to me.

I neeeeeeeed Rock Pikmin to be in this game.

Yeah... this is the strange part, how does that even work?

They release a special version of PM that changes everything that says "Project M" to say Brawl, Mewtwo's name is changed to Lucario and Roy's name is changed to Marth.

Nintendo won't know the difference.

I have considered getting double-sided tape and applying a piece to my thumb.
No really

People suggesting jigglypuff get cut? What?

She is classic smash. It doesn't matter how relevant she is outside, she is popular in smash.

Jigglipuff falls into this as I see it, because she is a classic Smash Bros character now, like Sheik. I kind of understand if he has to cut characters because of any reason he has (But he could at least explain why honestly) buy no one should say "THAT character should be cut"

Just because you didn't grew attached to that particular character because of your taste or games you played it doesn't mean other people didn't. No cut has ever been "good", just more or less comprehensible.

Exactly! Jigglypuff would have no chance of getting in nowadays, but she deserves the stay as a Smash veteran who's gathered herself fans by the loads. My man Ness appeared in a sole game more than 20 years ago, but he too, deserves the stay. The more characters that manage to survive into future installments the better, as every single one had their set of fans who will have to grin and bear it if they're gone. Here's crossing my fingers for DLC.

While today Jigglypuff doesn't seem that important, during the First Gen of Pokemon, Jigglypuff was one of the most iconic Pokemon right below Pikachu. Mostly due to Jigglypuff's reoccurring status in the anime.

Roy was important at the time because he was the star of the most recent Fire Emblem game. Which seems to be the same reason Ike and Lucina/Robin were introduced at their times.

Dark Pit, I'll give you. He's probably in because Sakurai likes him and because he's an exceptionally easy clone to implement.
I was 8-12 during the height of the Pokémon popularity so I'm well aware of Jigglypuff's popularity during that time. However, I would disagree with you on being right below Pikachu. The starters and Mewtwo were even more relevant because they had important roles in the games as well as the anime. Meowth also since he has been in every single pokemon anime episode and was an anti-hero character. Before her entry into Smash, I would've said Togepi was more relevant to the series given her anime popularity and her being one of the first seen new pokemon. Also represented the major new mechanic in the sequels being breeding and eggs.

Roy was a little too flavor of the month from a game that hadn't even released yet. Ike at the least has been in multiple games in the series. Lucina and Robin make sense given the massive revival of the series.

Jigglypuff was important to Nintendo when Pokemon was at the height of its popularity back in the 90's, she was one of the most popular Pokemon and had a recurring role in the anime, she might not have the same popularity she did back then but neither do many of the characters still in the game, that was basically my whole point, some characters haven't appeared in games in years yet they're still deserving of a spot but Jigglypuff isn't.

and yeah, I know, Meowth, Mewtwo, the Red/Blue starters but that doesn't take away from Jigglypuff's popularity back then, they weren't lucky enough to look like Kirby.
You're correct. However, I feel a lot of the flavor of the month characters don't last long in Smash with the exception of Sheik and Jigglypuff. Most of the other flavor of the month characters get cut, are assist trophies/pokemon or never make it in the game at all. Its strange to see Jigglypuff who was a flavor of the month character to last for so long. However, I'm kind of done discussing this since we both agree Jigglypuff will likely never be cut.
