Quick question about the quests: are they based on your team's level? I did the first one which was a level 10 and my team was around 50-53 and when I unlocked the second one the level for it was 36.

Does anyone know when the EU eShop updates and how much this game will be on said eShop? I'd like to pick it up digitally but it would have to be the same price as physical. Around £30.
I've had this game preordered for months, and Amazon still hasn't shipped it out. I'm at the end of my rope with Amazon. Sorry I don't want to pay for your Prime service, I guess being a loyal customer for over a decade and a half just isn't good enough to get shit in a timely manner anymore. What a joke. Don't know for sure, but I would guess based on a combination of the quest level and the team's level. There is probably a range of levels available for generation based on base map level.
I completed the level 10 one twice and got level 25 and 26 maps. Both times my team was an average of level 16-17, plus or minus.

Picked up my copy at Wal-Mart, which also included the CD (don't know if all copies have it). Since I played the demo yesterday, I got the extra characters. Also got the freebie DLC. Current party is Cecil, Lightning #2, Warrior of Light, and Terra. 1508 Rhythmia so far.

yep Kazuichi played that arcade game or whatever with Chiaki and he lost bad. she likes playing games with more people so as long as they don't hog the machine I think.

About these demo characters, do you need to download the demo to get them at all, or is it just a way to unlock them earlier than normal in the real game?

Honestly, character unlocks are such a non-issue in this game.
When you get the gems you can pick your favorites from a pool and that's only if you haven't picked them from the large selection at the start of the game already.
The online versus has been driving me nuts a bit. I don't even know why they let players pick songs, especially since I've run across a couple of players who will pick the same song and have that shit flat-out memorized, so it doesn't even matter what mods you end up hitting. Also having the game not search for Ultimate/No EX charts by defaults is really annoying, since no one will see your request unless they alter their search results. I've also had the game soft lock on me after matches a couple of times, and it doesn't save the win or the rank gained.
The game is a nice improvement over the original, though. The number of songs in the game is crazy, and the quest maps are a nice hook.

Yeah, also a thing to note is the first music you get relates to the four you pick. So pick the four games you like. I got most characters I wanted. Still need to get

This game made me play again Crisis Core. Started in hard mode and bahamut is killing me in two hits. But it is worth cuz Zack <3
Best by far. I pick it a lot in multi as well. Most of the time I win by a huge margin because most run out of hp. I love it.
