Amusing that the nightfall seemed easier then the 28 weekly because of the bonus arc damage. Making a tank explode with a god damn sniper rifle.

To the direct right of where the boss comes out of the door is like 2 separate hiding places that can keep you safe, both with their own ways of keeping cover while shooting the boss.

Yep. Got two alts to 20 pretty fast. Used them to farm materials. Since first golden event each day grant materials and you can put that in in your vault :)
Sent all my materials to my main. Now I can do 3x event. 3x Daily Heroic.

Also leveling weapons. Do bounties with main. Turn in with weapon equipped.
Store weapon in vault. Alt #1 take weapon from vault and do bounties. Do same with alt #2.

The alts only have armor my Titan got that was for wrong class. Hunter jumped to lv 23 as soon as he reached 20. Warlock got Exotic helm and she jumped to 24 :)

still on the moon story wise with both xD

That tank actually has surprisingly good aim, died my first time solo because of it.

Actually it was the second time, the first I was booted for being idle. Don't want to ruin the 2 non-existent other guardian's nightfall strike experience, right Bungie?

When you enter the boss room, go to the corner on the left of where the boss comes out. You can jump over the boxes and camp there and shoot the boss without getting hit. Make one of your teammates hide and do nothing so whenever you go out to get ammo and get killed, you can quit and join him.

6 coins is way better than a legendary engram or legendary gun you didn't want. Coins let you pick your prize. 6 is kinda low though. I think I got 9 coins last week.

If you have 3 of the same class it'll make farming up the raid set a lot easier since you can run it 3x a week. That's what I'm planning to do once I get a hunter and warlock subclass maxed.
 
So tired of looking at blue gear...would love to raid or run with anyone looking for a Titan lvl 25 -I'm nearly maxed as striker and halfway through the upgrade tree on defender. RisingZan on PSN.

Other two gaffers I was with got 9 and 7. Kind of weird but yeah I'm cool with the coins, just kind of a let down since I got Suros Regime last week from Nexus.
 
made it to final boss in Glass of Vault. not bad for our first time. I think a Gaffer was leading us. Rebel Glass, are you here?

got some good drops including Raid arms and chest armor as well as a legendary shotty.

No way. Im not grinding the same class three times for armor that won't even be the best you can get in a few months. Even then you can play three times one week and RNGesus can just laugh at you and not give you armor.
 
So I didn't feel like waiting for our cryptarch update so I decoded my engrams and got some goodies, first I finally have enough motes of light for an exotic engram this weekend and I might have gotten this from a legendary engram

So can you see just by looking at your armor whether it is RAID armor or just regular legendary armor? How do you figure out the total amount of possible light it can have after all the upgrades?

EDIT: I'd have to lose two light in order to put on my RAID gloves.

I do it mostly to get some variation and get shards to get good gear for the raid. Just got to lv 28 with my main yesterday. So now I am fully ready for raid. Done the raid up to last boss last week but we couldn't bring him down. Most of us was 26 or 27 but this week we are all 28 :)
 
I think I'm done with this game.


Sick of farming for a slight chance to get a legendary engram and then rolling for a slight chance it will decode into a legendary, pvp is a fucking mess with fusion rifles one shotting me from range.

And then I have to ask myself why am I grinding light levels it's pointless.

I was super hyped for this game but it's dissolved into a pile of crap for me.

Time to move on I guess

Why are you even farming for engrams? Why not just purchase the gear that you want using marks?

So upgrade your raid gloves.
The raids sets have common names, vog themed descriptions, and higher defense.

Oh thanks! I got the "gloves of the hezen lords" from the RAID.

EDIT: I just equipped these RAID gloves using the Destiny iOS app. I didn't realize you could change your equipment in the iOS app...
