Just came to post this. What shit. A bunch of eyewitness accounts should be more than enough to indict. Even hearsay is permissable evidence in a grand jury proceeding. This prosecutor is just sitting on his hands doing nothing. If this is even proven to be true.

I mean, I don't know how many more times I can say Wilson ain't catching charges before people realize Wilson ain't catching charges, but once more: Wilson ain't catching charges and if he some how amazingly does, he won't get convicted.
If even 6 or 7 eyewitnesses saying you shot someone with their hands up doesn't get you charged, then apparently video evidence is required to charge a cop with anything. How fucking stupid is that?

Video evidence wouldn't be enough to convict Darren Wilson, due to the attitude of most non-minority Americans in relation to Police.
There'd be a better chance, but it's still pretty unlikely.

That's the slant of the State's Attorney then. They could present evidence with whatever slant they want to. The Grand Jury isn't supposed to decide guilt or innocence, just whether there is a more likely than not chance of guilt. Of anything.

This is sad but true look at the john crawford walmart shooting as an example. They have video evidence of a police officer killing an innocent citizen who did nothing wrong except be black in a predominately white town. Then they ask a grand jury which was probably over 95 percent white to actually sympathize with a black man over a white police officer. Also add to that a prosecutor who does not really care about the case or believe the officer is guilty. The justice system is broken.

Could be systemic racism ...... or could be as simple as there being two different judges doing those arraignments. Looks like that scenario because 1) weekend night vs. weekday night will usually be a different judge, and 2) it appears that on each respective night, all were given equal treatment.
Some parts of the criminal justice system are literally luck of the draw. I'm not saying that's definitely what happened there, but having spent some time working in the court system I've seen that kind of thing all the time. The judge you pull (and if it goes to trial the public defender you pull if you don't hire your own) .... just as important to the outcome as the officer that arrested you.
Just a hunch. State Senator Chappelle's presumption of blatant racism out in the open could also be correct. I just see that there could be another more pedestrian explanation, that would be consistent with my experience.
