The .01% is what worries me.
we don't need to tolerate that, I'm for one not buying any game priced this way, even with discount, I buy it only when base price is dropped, voting with my wallet and all that.
The only worry is the WB Play rumors on the horizon. Still don't have enough information on that particular subject to lean either way though.

You can easily cancel Amazon orders even when they're being prepared to ship so the risk is 0% since we'll know until then.
Yeah, I was surprised to see it in the menu. However it asked me for my age when I selected it and was told 20 is not enough to access WBPlay so I didn't bother lol

Probably not, to be honest. Personally, my "minimum" bar of quality is that of console quality. If I can't match it, or beat it, then I'll just play it on console.
Did you play it with the cinematic mod or without? Wanted to play HL2 a few days ago with that mod but sadly it requires both episodes ... which i still don't own even after all these years

I noticed that, but I thought that was just preliminary while they are working on the full implementation.
Looks like it was a false alarm though for the most part.
It seems to be buggy and not always take input, so you might have inputted only 2.

Without. I wanted the original experience, like everybody else had when they played it for the first time. Also did you see the Alyx model in the Cinematic Mod. So oversexualized

Yeah, I got one for Star Citizen keys being delayed, but nothing about Alien. Shit sucks. I guess it gives me time to finish Outlast.

I'll say one thing for Mordor, never have I built up a grudge with an AI opponent outside of a fighting game. Can see me getting a fair bit of mileage out of the Challenge Mode.

Wow, didn't even know about that. I actually was really impressed with the environments i saw in a video but if Alyx looks like that then vanilla is probably the way to go which is sad because the other models really seem to look like proper high res versions of the old ones.
It takes them several months to compile data. Unless they have said something specifically, I would assume they are still grinding away.

I'm considering preordering Evil Within for PS4 since Amazon.fr is offering it for 45 and I could resell the game and if the PC version ends up being only 30fps anyway....
oh I did! I liked it, it's the last 3d mario I liked (I played mario sunshine and didn't like it), I didn't play the super mario galaxy games though. It kind of sucks the nintendo games I played rubbed me the wrong way after snes because I skipped most of the n64 games and I didn't like the GC games that much
They are silent about it and didn't say one thing or the other. I tweeted Kyle Orland twice asking him about it but got no response. The original article was in April. Enough time has passed and data collected to have another.

yeah, that's what I was afraid of.
I'm kind of leaning towards PS4 for these new batch of games and keeping this ~3 year old pc for mid-tier and indies.

The Evil Within will probably be fine, there was quite a bit of hysteria over Mordor left unresolved until just before release and that turned out fine.

The console version has been confirmed to be running at 30 FPS on a modified version of ID5.
Bethesda has never responded to questions on the PC framerate, hoping to alleviate that by sending out some Tweets to key developers and community managers within Bethesda
