Inhumans are one of my most hyped for of the announcements. I have an irrational love for them because of this run:

Inhumans is going to be hard to pull off as a solo movie (ie it would have been easier/safer if they were misunderstood villains in another movie) but amazing if they can.

They're kind of a weird property as its more of a family royalty dynamic and the main character doesn't talk
It'll be really interesting how they adapt it and who they cast

Considering how they are kinda insignificant in the comics, Inhumans is a bit of a surprise. But considering the success of the Guardians and hints towards more of a cosmic approach, then Inhumans and Captain Marvel probably shouldn't be a surprise.

Katee Sackhoff is 34 years old right now, so if they filmed in 2017 she'd be 37, and that is probably way too old to attach her to a new franchise with plans for sequel.

Most decent female actors are going to be too old by that metric.

Yeah. Keep in mind they're not superheroes though, or even heroes like the GOTG eventually aspire to be.

The Inhumans were kept secret from humanity for centuries, only to be swept up into current events unwillingly. Their stories are typically heavy on the political intrigue/royal family dynamic. Think Game of Thrones + Marvel Comics.

That all actually sounds really awesome to me. Officially hyped now.

I think I'll check out the comic you linked above because that all sounds like my kind of thing.

I think part I will be on earth, part II will be in space alongside the Guardians. Maybe defeating Thanos in part I opens up the cancerverse and they have to team up with him to stop it.

Nah, it's done. Separating the cinematic and TV universes sealed the deal for me. I don't even care for their efforts anymore. Might watch DoJ, and hopefully Rock's not too old for Black Adam by the time Shazam drops in 2020. But other than that, I'm done.

Fuck. I was hoping for Ms. Marvel instead. Carol since Marvel Now has been shit imo.
Her Warbird and Ms.Marvel designs are also much cooler imo.
