Because at the beginning of the event Fiege announced that and put in on the screen, then at the end played the Iron Man/Cap wood chopping scene and said "lol, just kidding, Cap 3 is actually CIVIL WAR"

Only problems I have are no mention of a Hulk or Black Widow standalone. Not even an Iron Man one. Guess that's civil war but.. I guess.
 
So who is left for Phase 4 besides possibly Nova? I'm thinking Hulk will get a movie again, and maybe we see something like the Thunderbolts which has been rumored. Drawing a blank on what else they might have up their sleeve.

House of M, in which Scarlet Witch goes crazy and causes all three realities (MCU, Spider and X/FF) to combine. In the comics, M stood for Mutant, or maybe Maximoff, but in this instance it'll stand for HOUSE OF MARVEL.

In regards to the comics, would the current Avengers run by Jonathan Hickman be the best read in regards to what they are (or might be) basing these films on? I'm still new to comics (particularly Marvel).. but I'd love to get into an Avengers run.

Ha, bullshit. If anybody should blink it should be DC. Inhumans could go head-to-head with Justice League at this point. The Marvel name is box office god tier at this point.

After Inhumans film, they can make a Ms. Marvel film.
 
It's strange to me that they're going to squeeze the Captain Marvel and Inhumans movies in between the two pieces of the Avengers: Infinity War. That sort of seemed like the climactic endgame to me... how are they going to contextualize inserting those films in between unless they tie-in directly to the plot they've spent the better part of a decade building up to?
 
Literally cried tears of joy watching the Infinity War teaser.

Hype as fuck for all the movies but still kinda disappointed that there's no Nova movie.
At least not yet.

Spider Man maybe. They should do everything to get him back.

By the time when phase 4 starts they'll probably have enough money in return to buy Sony completely if they could (in theory obviously), and Sony will be running out of buildings to sell. Spidey may go for a record transfer fee.

Warner is fine, Marvel is fine.

Let's just hope that the announced slate for both companies turns out good. I hope that they attach the right talent to these movies.

I am most hyped for Black Panther, followed by Captain Marvel.

I want them to do a standalone movie about Nova.

They changed GotG from the comics quite a bit so I'm not sure but isn't John C. Reilly's character in GOTG1 the original Nova Prime that gives the Worldmind to Richard Rider? So it doesn't make much sense for Nova to be in GOTG2 unless it isn't Richard Rider or they use it to set up a Richard Rider movie.

Who knows how they'll set it all up.

By the time of phase 4, Fantastic Four will have flopped and Fox and will give the franchise back to marvel and Sony will have worked out a deal with Spiderman.

The next big event after Thanos and Infinty War will be the Beyonder and Secret Wars. Doom, Galactus, Ultron, Avengers, Spidey, all in one film friends.

Yeah I have no idea how they could pull off something as huge scale as Secret Wars.

As good as Marvel has it now, I'm inclined to agree.

This is fucking JUSTICE LEAGUE for fucks sake, against a movie with a lead actor in a country practically built on systematic racism?

BP is going to get destroyed, if they don't move it.

I usually hate when they split movies up..

But for Infinity War I think I am more excited because it is split.


Oh Jesus, all of those Characters On Screen for Infinity War...

um... I might need a minute.


Seriously Marvel and Disney have all the momentum.

Man Disney has a chance to own the box office the next 10+ years with Star Wars and Marvel.
