So excited for Captain Marvel! I wish she would be Phyla-Vell and keep her relationship with Moondragon, but she will all but certainly be Carol Danvers. Either way, they should try to get Katee Sackhoff to play the role (edit: it looks like everyone else thinks so too).

Punisher, Ghost Rider, She Hulk, Monica Rambaeu, Blade, Abigail Brand, Moonknight, TaskMaster, Hercules, Namor, The Eternals, NightThrasher, Ghost, Hyperion (do it marvel!), Spider Woman... Shang Chi.
Once they get all this cosmic stuff out of their system, maybe phase 4 and 5 can switch focus to some of these. Maybe expand on the TV ground level characters to give them a dedicated movie universe.

I want moondragon in guardians 2 and have her start a relationship with gamora.

Do it marvel.

Kind of bummed they are not going to try a solo Ruffalo Hulk movie but I can see why. Outside of the origin story I am not sure Hulk could carry a movie on his own.

I bet Ed Norton and Terrance Howard are kicking themselves right now.

Howard is coming off hits such as Red Tails, Dead Man Down and Best Man's Holiday.

I think Marvel is the one kicking themselves

May 6, 2016: Captain America: Civil War
May 27, 2016: X-Men: Age of Apocalypse

I don't know what this list is but if these two movies are as good or better than their predecessors, May 2016 will be the greatest month ever

Kind of bummed they are not going to try a solo Ruffalo Hulk movie.
I keep saying this but if they want to do planet hulk, the most likely point he'd get shot into space is in Age of Ultron, meaning they can't announce it until after that movie.

Blah blah blah, it's pretty unlikely given their full schedule, but marvel is clearly listening to their fans so I wouldn't rule it out completely.

and I'm sure Sean Connery is content he didn't do the LoTR trilogy. Because fuck it, who needs like $400,000,000.00 in the bank accounts, amirite?

implying ruffalo's making much money off of marvel lmao. they're paying peanuts to everybody not named Robert Downey Jr (and maybe Scarlett)

but yeah sean connery actually retired after the 1-2-3 fuck ups of the matrix, lotr and league of extraordinary gentleman :(

Maybe they just still want to have something to surprise people with down the road.

I'd love to see them take a few pages story-wise out of Indestructible Hulk especially since that book gives Banner a lot more agency as a character, which would be fun to see in a solo film. Give Ruffalo more to do.

It's really obvious (more so now) that signing a contract with Marvel is a HUGE commitment. It's possible that they prefer the flexibility in projects that they can choose without being tied to Marvel's schedule. Maybe they wouldn't have been interested in doing something like this for so long.

Margot Robbie please for Carol Danvers. Younger and up and coming.

Too...Barbie-ish to play Cap Marvel IMO

Emma Stone? Jennifer Lawrence? ahahaha
Probably the two I would least like to fill those shoe, and not just because of poor performances in comic book films either.

Charlize Theron and Jessica Biel are way too old too, though I don't mind them as much as actresses.

My hype meter has left the stratosphere! As someone who has been reading Marvel comics for 25 years, this is quite possibly the greatest day of my life.

"Iron Man" may be on the verge of releasing its third installment in theaters, but not everybody's a fan of the franchise. Terrence Howard, who portrayed Col. James Rhodes in the original 2008 movie -- and at the time was the highest-paid member of the cast -- now says doing the movie ruined his career.

During a press junket for his new film "Dead Man Down," he told Hollywood.com, "(The) worst thing I witnessed was 'Iron Man' killing my career." He then chuckled deeply and a little self-consciously, then added, "Or trying to. They tried to."

if Howard's feeling pinched after doing a big-budget action role (he was replaced by Don Cheadle for the "Iron Man" sequels), he may in part have himself to blame: He signed on early to the first film and got a big paycheck that couldn't be renegotiated once other stars -- Gwyneth Paltrow, Robert Downey Jr., Jeff Bridges -- signed on. That meant a paycut "estimated as between 50 and 80 percent," according to Entertainment Weekly, for the sequel. (The magazine reported Howard also exhibited "difficult behavior" on set.)

Speaking of which, why in the world is Scarlett getting paid so damn much?

This guy gets it. Waif-fu is not going to work for the Captain. She's not a finesse fighter like the Widow. She hits like a brick shithouse strapped to the back of a runaway bus. On jet fuel. Actress has to be built enough that you believe in the pain she's dishing out.
