Is it reasonable to assume that if Thor: Ragnarok involves Surtur, Beta Ray Bill will be involved? I'm just reading on Bill's background and it seems like Surtur is a big part of it.

I'm just going to assume that Gunn means he hates shitty, Loeb Nova, and refuses to use the character unless it's Dick motherfucking Rider.

They might just to show they can, but I'd prefer no one besides Thor wield Mjollnir until Cap.

The beautiful thing about Strange is the way they are angling the movie. Although I'm very unsure about Scott Derrickson's talent (The Day the Earth Stood Still and Hellraiser: Inferno are garbage tier), Marvel went for a horror director and Feige has already said that Strange's world is unlike any other in the MCU, in the sense that they are looking forward to depict something close to Ditko's balls-out vision.

It would be fantastic if they could pull off something like this for the parallel dimensions.

I've seen these Avengers trailers so many times now and I can't get enough. Again, that glove was the hypest thing about that trailer. A freakin glove mang!

Surprisingly? He's actually right. Krasinski was frontrunner for a while before it came down to I think Garrett Hedlund and Chris Evans.

...Oh god, imagine Tron: Legacy man as Captain America

That is horrible. Hedlund at least has the look but Krasinski is just too goofy. Never seen him in a serious role either before.

I think the obelisk/Diviner is a terrigen crystal or something that the Inhumans use for the mist process. It's right there in the name, it divines the true evolutionary potential of the person undergoing terrigenesis. And it's apparently fatal to non-Inhumans.

I thought that too but i kind of doubt it now that inhumans is 4 years away. Long time to w ait for the backstory

I don't think Cap will end up wielding it at all. Just more of an easter egg.

I think he will. It'll be the conclusion of the character relationship arc between Rogers and Thor. In Avengers he blocked the hammer with his shield. In Avengers 2 he's the only one who can move the hammer just a little. These maybe be little teasers, but I think they'll ultimately lead up to something because it's something fans want to see. Marvel Studios operates almost exclusively on "what would fans love to see next" so I think it's definitely happening.

If Cap doesn't wield Mjolnir at some point in the MCU I will be utterly shocked. There's a reason they are putting these easter eggs in. The reaction audiences would have to Cap beating ass with the hammer would be immense and Marvel knows this.

That's true- I hope so and you bring up a good point about Cap & Thor's relationship.

Avengers 3 Part 2 is going to end with Cap wielding the shield.

I bet it's gonna be just like in DBZ, Gohan vs Cell. Rogers will see Thor's soul coming down from Valhala and wield that hammer with him. Cheese.

Actually looks like Skrull rights are a bit of a grey area in terms of film rights. Here's what James Gunn said

Marvel only partially owns Skrulls, and also for the record, we don't own the Badoon either. So people were asking why we have the Sakaarans in the film, we don't own the Badoon.

Sinister Six, ASM3 and probably ASM4 would have to tank. Then Sony wouldn't give up right away, they'd want to at least try everything they possibly could. And when that failed, they might still let the contract run it's course just to be dicks.

The only way I can see it happening in the next decade is a split Marvel/Sony ownership, with Sony handling the solo deals and Spidey making occasional cameos. But who knows if Marvel would even want that? Though you just KNOW somewhere in a Disney/Marvel vault is a "Sony fucking sucks" plan for Spidey in the MCU, how they'd build him up etc.

So what's stopping Sony from lending Spider-Man for Avengers as long as Marvel doesn't do a standalone Spider-Man movie?

Sony's pride/Marvel wanting an all or nothing deal. Why help Sony out? Why not let them struggle instead of further promoting and making Sony's films profitable?
