Most of this shit ends in one season.
Apparently all these writers never acquired those DBZ skills. Them dudes constantly dragged 10 minutes of actual occurrences in the world over three episodes through 4-5 arcs and shit. Multiple cliffhangers about nothing. Had at least 3 episodes dedicated to Goku going Super Saiyan for the first time. Even dragged a few episodes through Gohan's ain't-shit Saiyaman phase.
No other anime was better at wasting time...

They fought for like three days or some shit and wrecked the pacing of the series. Goku fought Frieza until it got to a point where the planet was going to explode.
That SS1 transformation was some epic mood changing shit. Someone needs to take Tyrese's dumb shit song and dub that over Goku going Super Saiyan. That's the the textbook definition of shit your draws and SHIT JUST GOT REAL. His eyebrows turned yellow.
While I'm on one nothing beats Setsuna F. Seiei's transformation into god. I ain't spoiling shit but go look up Gundam 00.
