For the MP, is it true that equipment doesn't change the look of your character, rather there are just three armor sets that will change their appearance? I may have misunderstood the stream.

Fuck, I want to get this on PC and PS4 (because on the latter, my bro uses it for COD lol).

I'm gonna guess there is 0 chance for cross platform save swapping.

When I looked at FlyVPN (which I've used before) Korea wasn't available or Hong Kong, though China was. So now I'm using SoftEtherVPN. Link to reddit guide This does have a Korean server to use and I found it easy to use. However make sure you are on the correct network when you're finished with it. I had to manually disable it in my Network.

Thanks for the advice.

Will check it out once I get home.

Ten years ago, in 2004, this is how Dragon Age looked liked vs today:

Back in 2004 Dragon Age existed in a heavily modified Aurora engine (Witcher was also made in this engine). We never saw anything from Dragon Age again for almost two years when the game was completely overhauled.

It's amazing to think that Dragon Age took them over 5 years to make, but had to make Dragon Age 2 in less than two.

Can someone tell me all the romance options with gender and race restrictions? I know I saw it posted in the review thread days ago but I can't find it now.

I find it rather weird that there is no reference to the Orlesian Warden-Commander in the Keep at all. I wonder if they'd just erase them completely from the narrative.

You don't need a direct reference- if the Warden didn't survive the battle against the Archdemon then the Orlesian Warden-Commander must exist.

Iron Bull: Male and females, any race
Cullen: Female only, Elf and Human only
Solas: Female only, Elf only
Blackwall: Female only, any race

Ok, it's zero hour for pre-loading now. I need to know how the PS4 version looks/performs compared to PC. Really I'm just concerned about temporal aliasing aka "pixel crawl." Shit bugs me.

Anywhere to get this info?

IGN did a comparison vid...I don't have the link handy...and kotaku posted an article citing it.

I'm not sure it'll answer your exact concerns, since it's short gameplay snippets being compared, but it's something.

IMHO, PC looks better (on ULTRA), obviously. How much of a difference tips the balance is personal.....

Reallt wish i could re customize my characters looks without having to replay the past 6 hours i have :(

Does this game suffer from your character looking different in game after you made your character at the start of the game...like skin color being too dark or stuff like that...I cant remember which game but I made a guy once,I think it was Defiance, and the guy looked different enough to bother me once in game...

What stood out for me combat wise in DA:O (and I know it has been streamlined but it's more DA:O than DA2) was I could play it in realtime 3rd person with my most used bound to my mouse and it was like an arcade game, playable with any class in your party or I could pause it, hit tactical view and play it out like a game of chess and make a 10 second unwinnable into a thirty minute sweet sweet victory. I just let myself get wrapped up in the story and it was joyous start to finish. Inquisition looks to have given the player the option to play like this again (and believe me shit mountain hurt after Origins) so I am set to get back into it all over again :D

You can absolutely do just that..at least on the console versions. Spent some time with it via EA Access trial this weekend.

On the casual difficulty level, you can pretty much play it like a Diablo clone. Main attacks, special abilities, and potion guzzling. It can still be challenging, FYI (because you're playing that way an not using some of the combat mechanics that make things easier), too.

Or you can go FULL tactical, use all the bells and whistles, and play it ALMOST like an old school turn based complete party control RPG (full on FF VII mode). If you play this way in casual...combat is WAY easy...though takes longer. On normal...it's pretty much exactly where you'd want it (not punishingly hard, but still a challenge here and there).

Or you can play it as a mixture of the two...which is what I did, mostly. It's a GREAT balance.

Guys I have proof that there is in fact a god.

The public bus got me home in time to play the game the second it releases, and I just learned I don't have work for the next two days.

It didn't for me. The face I got when I created was the face I was seeing in the game, lighting, complexion, and all.

BUT, if you really decide you don't like a hair style or whatever...I'm not sure there is a way to change it after creation.

That is awesome! I almost had proof there is a devil as well...my power went out while I was selecting a VPN! Its back now, but I almost had a heart attack

They've tried to make the lighting in cutscenes as similar to the character creator as possible. From what I've heard, makeup can be really dark/overdone in-game vs. in the character creator though.

Caveat to my last post:

My character was not wearing any makeup, nor did they have any real facial markings...so if the above is true, I wouldn't have seen it.

Nah, apparently there isn't. Not like the mirror we had in DA2 so make sure you look how you want to!

Anyone got a link to the skills of each class? Also which is the best for melee/tank oriented players?

Two skill trees in the warrior line will likely interest you:

"Weapon and Shield" and Vanguard

I've got about 75 min left in my trial, and I'm done playing til launch...I'll try to get you a skill list in a bit. :)

Any other quick questions like this from the group that I could quickly pop in and check on?

Too bad you can't change your character's appearance later on, maybe that could be added in as an update or a mod (or console command like in TES, maybe that's too much to hope for her). I almost ALWAYS screw something up in the initial creation and wish to change it later.

Otherwise, 10 minutes before all hell breaks loose. Hopeful that Origin doesn't suddenly become sentient and realize I'm in a different country!

PS4 would work in another way. Such as buying the game on the HK PSN instead of US. So wherever you bought it from that's when it will unlock. Not recommended to buy it off of a PSN where you can't understand the language. HK usually have English though.

I highly doubt it works that way. It didn't for me with Destiny IRC.

Or I am deeply mistaken and if so can someone clarify?

I want to carry a big sword and throw fireballs. can i do this?
Well, you can pick Knight enchanter, which is a mage specialization that gives you the change of generating a "Jedi light sword" attack, and then pick some of the Inferno talents that deal fire damage. There is no "throw fireballs" attack this time, though.
