more can be seen here!

Edit: here's a quote as to why some characters won't look like their source material

On the cast selection, producer Yoshihiro Sato said he did not pay as much attention to whether or not the cast members looked like the original characters. Instead, he had many discussions with Attack on Titan manga creator Hajime Isayama and went with actors who could act out the "characters' spirits."

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"
I don't understand why they don't just correct the author when its apparent the author has no grasp on the language he's trying to translate into. Its clearly supposed to be Attack OF THE Titans (the pre-official translation title was often translated as "Advance of the Giants"), but they let the author dictate what the English title is so we ended up with official Engrish.

All of these people look 10 years too old to be playing the characters in Shingeki.

Isn't it a plot point that Mikasa is a different race tot he others?

Yes, she is the only character who is Asian. The rest of them are apparently German going by their names.

A made up race in a fictional setting so it's no biggie, plus she doesn't really look drastically different to anyone in the show skin color wise or anything.

At least the aesthetic looks right and they're casting Asians over bland white guy #230

I wouldn't expect much tbh.
Live action adaptations are great and all but it's best to dial back expectations when they're on this scale.
Japanese studios do great with some material, I've never been fond of how they handle things that probably require a ton of CG.

Wonder how the 3D maneuver gear will work and look in action. Especially with Mikasa and Levi who are freaking supersonic ninjas with it.

white people all look the same

I like it.

Cept I was thrown off a bit with the "Erin" bit until I clicked into the picture.

Never realised that his name is so close to Erin, until today, to be honest.

How about that

.____.;;;;;

Erwin x Levi pls~

The outfits and swords look pretty good, but this is going to have like ScyFy level of CGI, special effects, and acting isn't it?

Potato Girl looks awesome actually while Jean looks not how I imagined him, but if he can act, then cool.

The new characters look interesting though...

Two films you say.

Death Note had a pretty good first movie and bad second one.

Gantz had a good first movie and a underwhelming second one.

Hopefully it doesn't follow the same suit.

Zonic

Gives all the fucks
Why does Sasha look like she's posing for The Hunger Games?

I want to know how the titan and the action scenes are handled....though I have a bad feeling the titans will be CGI.
