What's the best way of getting evo stones (dusk and shiny specifically) and King's Rocks in this game? I'm about 25 pokemon away from finishing the national dex and want to get through it soon as you inevitably burn out - there's so many of the buggers at this stage!

And like the guy above said, I'll never get those eventmon. Doesn't bother me too much. Just hanging around the internet I've been gifted Genesect, Diancie, Hoopa, Mew, Jirachi (unfortunately with an outrageously racist name) and they gave away Celebi with XY. So that's not too bad.

I just like getting the Shiny Charm before doing any proper breeding just to increase the odds of getting something special.

Why would you not use a Sleep Powder/Spore user?

Assuming you want a someone with an accuracy boosting move/ability and a sleep inducing move, you could go for Hypnosis/Sing + Gravity (Clefairy/Sigilyph) or Compound Eyes + Sleep Powder/Hypnosis (Butterfree/Venonat/Vivillon/Yanma) as long you can get them somehow.

I've been using Technician Breeloom and that's been working well so far. 1.5x power False Swipe with max attack IV and EV is pretty nice.

Fair enough - the best option I think you have then is to use Mind Reader + Hypnosis with the Poliwag line since that'll be 100% accurate sleep, or use Gravity + Hypnosis/Sing with Clefairy/Sigilyph I mentioned before.

The other option, though more of a pain to set up, would be Smeargle. That would let you use Yawn, which I think would be just as good as MR+Hyp while only using one move slot, and also keep Spore for Pokemon it works on.

Edit: and Smeargle can also have Technician for boosted False Swipes. Man, now I'm tempted to breed one...
