Even better. The ammo generation is a lot faster than Invective. So much utility even to supplement other weapons.

For people that have everything, ice breaker might not be that useful. for everyone else, icebreaker is still the best.

I know you Black Hammer - Godhorn folks are all the rage, but I am really looking forward to some casual ROC strikes with my Obsidian Mind + Bad JuJu. This will be fun.

Been using it with a 100% int build, and even without bad juju (was waiting for the upgrade to put XP into my empty 300 one) I'm already chaining supers like a madman.

So I'm not the biggest player of destiny but have been enjoying it with my friends recently but fuck xur. Last week my Titan friend got an exotic helm and this week is a hunter friend did but for the second week in a row I'm boned for not buying the dlc. Now my friends are both higher levels because xur hates warlocks without the dlc.

Yep, the iron banner sniper with field scout is my favorite general purpose snipe. Black Hammer for bosses and Ice Breaker sits in my banK so I can use ballerhorn.

Bungie "hates" players without the DLC. It makes me laugh when people still debate the supposed randomness of Xur after his first "buy the DLC!" selection of wares a few weeks ago.
If you can get a group going now definitely do it and I'll be back on a little later, otherwise you can rest up for some true domination later today/tonight.

Even though I do not have a slot for another character, Ill stack that obsidian mind just in case they release more slots and I can make a warlock. That bad juju + obsidian mind combo seems fun to play with.
And buy icebreaker even if you have BH, P&T etc... free secondary ammo over time is amazing on many mission. Plus as mentioned before 6 IB shots = 10+ on any other sniper.

Do you plan to play the DLC at all? If so, cobble together the $20 and do it now. No reason to wait.
If not, then that sucks. It is unfortunate how so many things are locked behind the dlc.
Yes that is foolery IB to me is only 2nd to Ghorn BH is only good for certain enemies unless your a automatic headshot specialist.

Thanks for the advice earlier everyone! Already hit Light level 25, whooped ass in a Level 24 Strike as well. Tried out the Level 26 version of the daily heroic story mission and it said I was supposed to get some Engram and other things, but I seem to have gotten nothing. I died like 3 times, would this be the reason I didn't get anything?
I don't mind switching so no biggie for me.
Xur is preparing the ammo refill for hard mode because lots of tears will be shed during it.

Yeah, don't listen anyone who calls IB "rubbish" lol. Even without the regenerating ammo It's still the best Crowd Control Sniper with the Firefly like perk (don't even need headshot) and will always stay relevant unlike those legendaries.

Dying during a daily doesn't affect the rewards you get. You likely got a blue engram or two, maybe it showed up at the post master if your inventory for that type (e.g. primary weapons) was full.
It's a default perk, on the far left of the weapon screen. Not one of the perks you have to unlock with XP

It's not an unlockable perk as it has already been unlocked. Look at the left side of the upgrade tree.
Agreed, I have the Black Hammer since its first week and it's really only useful against bosses who have (a) easy to hit critical spot(s)
The legendaries? Well, they'll become obsolete on PvE someday while the IB still reigns supreme, and I like my infite ammo.
It's a passive perk, kinda like Last Word's fanfire. It regens ammo right away unupgraded.

I agree with the "IceB is still awesome" camp. It's still a top tier exotic to me even if there are other excellent Legendary sniper options.

Very tempting though. Even though I don't have a Titan, I have been collecting gear and would be able to have a fairly high level Titan out of the gate.
3x IB + Obsidan Mind is 64 coins. It will break the bank sitting at 75, but I don't know.
Did that make you feel inadequate or something? Your post wasn't up to snuff?

Never know what he'll sell later, unless of course you have a huge stack of coins. I spent all mine last week on heavy synth, I've got 6 left now after buying the two helms.
