In Half-Life 1, what is the Nihilanth's motivation for attacking. I know he has has enslaved bro's attacking you. If it just a "dominating another world" thing or are there resources they need or what? He was attacked by The Combine previously... why aren't we buds with that decaying bloated fetus?
 
Edit: Think I'll test out myself whether I can be on PSN simultaneously with both my PS3 and a PS4.

Answer: Surprisingly, yes. I was logged into PSN on both my PS3 and PS4 at the same time, through the same modem.
PS3 and PS4 are seperate networks or something?
 
Is it possible to remove XBox One games from your achievements list that you have zero achievements in? If no, are they planning to release an update to allow it? The 360 had this feature.

I think the explanation is that Xen is a real crappy place to live and the various aliens only lived there because the Combine drove them there and Earth seemed much nicer.

Well neat. That's pretty much what I needed. I was reading page after page and just plain couldn't figure out the motive. I should play that game, but I had to spoil a lot of stuff for myself to get interested.
 
Why do we get so many threads these days announcing that a specific game is available for pre-order digitally? Is it becoming common for quantities to run out?

Very. I can't tell you the number of times I didn't pre-order a game and then it was sold out digitally.

question about xbox one.. is there really no way to play music on the media player and also play your game full screen? do i have to have the app snapped?

Nope and yeah, you do. It's really dumb. I'm glad there's a Pandora app, but they need background olay8ng.it shouldn't even be hard to implement but idk.

Haven't played the game myself but I doubt it. It's not considered canon by Ground Zeroes iirc (GZ gameplay "spoiler");
only mainline games can be "erased" with the special gun, with Kaz telling the player not to mind the others.
Retcons are getting more and more common in the mgs franchise so maybe we'll get some new story in TPP.
 
Any one konws how can I play those cool Nes Mario hacks, Mario Adventure and Mario Bros 3 Mix on my hacked Wii I have the Nes emulator already installed.

I tried but it run the regular versions, also how can I play Mario Wars? On My Wii

How is playing MGS 1 on the Vita? Can I play it with the analog sticks? I'm thinking of buying it off of PSN, I have not played a MGS game before.

Also, I remember hearing there are some audio issue with playing it on the Vita, are they still there/is there a fix for them?

I don't know if it's available on Vita but I would assume so? Shouldn't the PS Store mention this? As for analog sticks, I also assume they work, as they work fine on the ps3. The original game was one of the first games with Dual Shock 1 support iirc and the reason I ever bought a second controller for my ps1. However, the controls haven't aged well at all. When I replayed the game on the ps3 recently, I definitely preferred not to use the sticks for movement. In modern times, the controls might be a turn off, but stick to it! :D Mgs 2 was a super massive controls overhaul, it's crazy what happened there to be honest.
 
A year and a month old (so no warranty) Dualshock 4 just shat itself. When I twist the controller, the camera moves up in games. So the twisting seems to trigger the right analog stick.

Anyone else encountered this? Fixable? I have no idea what could cause this. No spills, clean controller, no cracks, never fallen. It just sucks because it's my only controller.

The hell does "GOAT" mean in game threads? I seriously have no idea and can't figure it out....
 
Is there a way to remove stuff from your "library" on PS4? At the bottom of the list it has links to download all the games I've purchased which aren't currently on my console. This is fair enough, in theory, but it also contains the shitty demos I tried and didn't like, and it'd be nice to be able to lose those.
 
Deleted friends still show up on my what's new new list for streaming gameplay. Is that a glitch? Figured once you delete people you don't see what they are doing.

yep. they're a little more expensive but you get what you pay for. premium quality, reliable, they hold a charge when not in use... I have probably 20 floating around my house in total and could use a few more. Get enough so that you have some spares. When a device needs new batteries, just swap them out for the spares and then charge the dead ones, they're the new spares now.

edit: my own question. I rejected a "real name request" from a friend on PS4. I want to approve it now, is it possible? I can't find rejected requests and it doesn't let me initiate a real name request with him now.

I need something to get me through Metroid Prime Trilogy when it releases in a few weeks, and I'm running out of Duracell AA's.
 
I am interested in getting Dragon's Dogma, but given how multiplats always were a bit shaky on PS3, I wanted to know if the PS3 version is playable and enjoyable or if it's absolutely recommended to get the 360 version instead?

Because I prefer the Playstation 3 by a mile, but I've been burned by too many bad multiplat ports for it already.

PS3 version = lower FPS
Xbox 360 version = higher FPS with screen tearing

Pick your poison, they're both good versions of a great game. I played through it on PS3 and the low frame rate only bothered me a couple of times.
 
Can the network bit on a slim 360 die? I turned it on today, without changing any settings on the router or console itself, and I'm getting a password incorrect error. Deleted settings and re-entered them, still get it. Every other device in my house connects just fine with the same information. No IP or device filtering on my router, just default WPA2.
 
Why does the Playstation Store refuse to open sometimes? Or at very least, takes a minute to open and doesn't load menus for another 30 seconds a pop. Checked internet in settings, seems fine. My computers rock n rolling like normal. Just the Playstation OS just bug out sometimes? It's the blue screen with no loading bar and the O button that doesn't work.
 
I bought as SMG2 for wii U not realising I'd need a wii remote to play.

What is the difference between wii remote and wii remote plus?

I'll likely only use this for this game so if I can keep it cheap as possible that would be preferred. Hoping the "standard" is sufficient.....

Has motion plus within it, certain games uses it (Wii Sport Resort, Skyward sword for example). SMG2 doesn't use it.
