What's the max size and class speed for micro SD that the New 3DS will support?
Yeah I'm not sure what it was about this game. The locked 30 felt really slow. When locking the framerate in TLOU to 30, does it feel more choppy than other games at 30? Playing with it unlocked is great, but I was just curious since it almost feels like it's in the 20's for improved shadow quality.
I have a GTX 780.
When I use Geforce Experience, I can optimize certain games to use DSR.
All the guides I've found to manually set DSR are for a 900 series card using the Nvidia Control Panel.
In my Nvidia Control Panel, there's no option for DSR.
How do I manually set DSR using a GTX 780?
Also, DSR is making my menu and Steam overlay really small.
I'm feeling like a major dumb dumb right now - how do you eject a bluray disc on the Xbox One?
EDIT: I mean through menus .. not by pressing the eject button on the console
I don't know the answer to this but just out of interest, why can't you just press the eject button on the console? You have to be at the console anyway to remove the disk.
Not all games are compatible with the VitaTV and with poor sales I doubt it's going to be well supported. I faced the same dilemma and ended up getting a Vita Slim. So, should I get the PS TV or the PSV? PS TV is obviously cheaper, and I plan on mostly playing RPGs on it. I also don't care much about portability at this point either. Any draw back of going TV?
To manually do it, you have to go to the Nvidia Control Panel, and go to the resolution menu. Then you have to open the custom resolutions menu, check the option that allows you to set unsupported resolutions, and click on set custom resolution (or something like that). Finally you just have to input your desired rendering resolution according to your monitor's aspect ratio. After that you have to test it (it's going to look like shit), and save it. Now you can set that resolution in your desired game's video options menu.
Oh, and the menu/steam overlay thing is normal. Most games will not change the menu size, but the steam overlay will be very small.

Compatibility is the big thing. Check a list to see if games you're interested in will work. Seems like a lot of times this also involves downloading updates.
Hopefully going forward devs will try to stay compatible. Who knows if they will at all or not.
I'm looking to purchase Dragon's Dogma but the amount of DLC/addons is kind of absurd.
What's worth buying for more story and quests? I really don't care about purely aesthetic stuff
You could try borrowing one. I only own two 360 games (Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon) so that's what I did. A lot of people have moved on from last gen and they aren't using their consoles anymore.Hmm... meh. I wish the 360 would price drop already. I have a few games I've grabbed for it, but with only five games, I don't see paying $250+ for a system.
Loving the game, but I'm wondering is there anyway I can get onto the EU eShop to download some DLC that came with the game without screwing my Wii U or data.
Yes there is, right click then properties, there should be an option that's something like "hide from library" or something. Is there a way to hide those free games on Steam? Their presence annoy me.

Yes. Create an additional NNID with that country on your console. When you log in with it, you have to change the country of residence of your console to that country so you can access the eShop, but you can change it back afterwards. You should be able to use your credit card on a foreign store (it worked for me from Germany->UK).
So, I've finally decided to get a 360. While I have not beaten DS yet, I want to go ahead and ask: is DS II better on PS3 or 360?
Dark Souls 2: the Digital Foundry verdict
All of which leads us to a crossroads when recommending one version over the other. On the one hand, if you can't bear the thought of playing through a Dark Souls game with heavy tearing, the PS3 version is the only way to go for now. Performance is largely a sub-30fps affair for Sony's console, but thanks to an engine revamp with more aggressive LOD scaling, we have yet to experience sustained drops as egregious as the original Dark Souls at its worst. For the smoothest performance though, the 360's ability to push 30-40fps at most points is worth considering among those tolerant of tearing artefacts.
It's not a clear-cut answer then, and to top it off, there are some other minor considerations. Both games run at the same resolution with identical assets, though superior alpha effects on the 360 counts as a positive for that console. The better texture filtering on PS3 is a curious plus for Sony's platform also, and its free online service may be enough to curry favour among regular PvP players. Either way, throughout the rebuilding of its engine, this looks, plays and feels like a Dark Souls game, and fans will be well served by the core experience on either platform.
For those stubbornly waiting on PS4 or Xbox One versions, From Software is staying strictly mum on any next-gen details - besides acknowledging that this technology will form the bedrock of future efforts. The upcoming PC release will at least demonstrate the improvements planned for the game's textures and frame-rate - and whether that could extend elsewhere. As a cheeky aside for PS3 owners, the PS4 controller works impeccably with Dark Souls 2 with a wired connection. For now, that's about as close to a next-gen version as we're going to get.

More in the article, but here's the conclusion:
I'd already read it, but I usually trust GAFers a bit more.
So, the general consensus is the same as the article?
PS4
My DS4 is set to turn off after 10 minutes of not being used, expect it never does. I just watched a 50 minute show on netflix and it was on the entire time. It doesn't go off for a LONG time either when watching a DVD or blu ray. What gives?
Someone that knows japanese, please explain

I had some Xbox credit from long ago when Microsoft points were converted into cash balance - £35 or so, according to xbox.com. Today I went to try and spend some of that on the sale they have going at present, I thought it'd be a good time to pick up the Forza Horizon rally pack while it's discounted.
Except the website doesn't let me. It just refuses to use my account balance and keeps telling me to add a credit card. I don't want to add a credit card, I'm not planning on spending any money that isn't covered by the MSP balance, and there is no reason for MS to have my credit card details.
Do I have to buy it through a 360 to be able to use the points balance? The website is seemingly useless unless I give it card details and it charges those, which would defeat the point of having an MSP/wallet balance in the first place.
Anyone of you guys know of any let's-players who don't talk much?
