Hmmm, maybe this WILL be reflected in the amiibo.

Shulk looks really good compared to the other detailed humanoids like the Fire Emblem line. So tempted to import or eBay one. I don't suppose anyone in ANZ wants to trade for a Rosalina?

I'd love it if Wii U got DDD HD with Amiibo support. Aren't Kingdom Hearts figures really popular? Most of the Western gaming stores stock them and they usually only focus on the biggest franchises.

Yeah, I was about to buy Meta Knight from them today but they were already sold out. It seems like all the online shops in Japan are sold out so there isn't even a way to import him anymore.
Oh god, I can see it now. Comic-Con exclusive R.O.B amiibo with Famicom colors, but with American packaging.
In all seriousness, this is an interesting situation. I don't know if Nintendo wants to deal with making 2 different colored versions of a character they'd probably consider obscure.

Just figured, I should use an avatar for a character I actually like. Sheik is my current favorite Smash character to play (getting super good at her). So would rather have that then Palutena (who i don't really like. I mean I like her character a lot, but eh).

I'm glad I imported Jap. Meta-Knight (besides the rumors about his various mask defects I hope don't come to haunt me) because I don't trust Best Buy to put next to any in store. Nope Nope Nope.

Also lol at Mario Party amiibos being common. People want figures that normally wouldn't get made not Mario. And thats Mario AGAIN since they already did Mario. The new Mario line looks so cheap too can't believe they aren't cheaper lol.

Sonic and DDD popped up on Walmart.ca for a bit on the weekend. (might have been Megaman, Toon Link was one also). But otherwise they've been long since sold out at every retailer. Megaman and Sonic are both held back though. I think I got a release date of Feb 28th for them.

I got two Meta Knights from Japan and there were no defects outside of the silver paint isn't the best. But he looks amazing. And yeah I'm so glad im not having to deal with BB. Honestly, after TRU and Lucario it's prob for the best that you just import exclusives now while you can. Especially if you don't even have a pre order.

I've been ordering so much stuff over the past 5 months I forget about so any pre-orders. I JUST started listing them down on a notepad document, but even then I still feel like my list is half empty. It's like Christmas when I get a email saying some item I don't remember ordering shipped though.
If you're waiting on Meta Knight and Shulk from Amazon UK they're not out until the 20th

Lucario shipped and my Shulk is paid off. The rest are preordered at Best Buy and i'm feeling pretty confident with them going forward.
My tax refund comes this week and I might do something very bad to get a Rosalina.
Also waiting until I get all Wave 3 to open them. It's just more fun that way!

Went out for some shopping, didn't have any amiibos a few days ago and now I don't think I can stop. I want more!

My self-imposed rule for now is that I'll just get my favourite characters, that means Shulk, Charizard and possibly Robin are next.
And I guess I should get a Mario and Link amiibo aswell at some point.

I just have Toon Link, King DeDeDe and Meta Knight at Best Buy, and the 1st of the 3 came broken (Toon Link). Not too happy about that :-(. Gotta trek to Best Buy tomorrow and see what they say :-(

Seeing as Namco's been the only company so far to make use of amiibo, I look forward to them making use of the Pac-Man amiibo like they did in Ace Combat.

My Japanese Marth arrived today. I payed $24 for him and I'm thankful as hell I got a good one. No bent sword and the face is pretty good.
