I guess. He was in the first wave and as they stock more of the new ones wave 1 will be stocked less and less, if at all. I haven't seen a Fox on the shelves since early January. In fact, if there is anyone you want in wave 1 be it Mario, DK, Peach... I would get now cause they're probably not going to be restocked, or stocked less and less, especially with the new Mario line coming out in a month.

Actually, while he had been pretty uncommon, it seems like Nintendo actually did reprint him recently. He's been popping up in several stores in my area. I also noticed him come back in stock to order from a couple online sites like BB. He still seems to sell out fast, however, so it may have just been a very limited restock.

I saw one at Target awhile ago and thought it a fluke, then I saw 2 randomly at a Toys R U several towns over.

The GameStops near me randomly got one or two Foxes in stock last week. I don't know if it's another small production run or they just have more getting through the supply chain now, but he seems to be popping back up in small quanitities lately.

Depends on the area I guess. Best buy fucked me on the MM n3DS, then the MM LE, then King triple d.
Gamestop has yet to fail me so.....yeah.
Yeah, but they're not actually considered Mario Party amiibos by Nintendo, they're considered Super Mario amiibos.

Not sure about Dedede, but yeah it was bad with several stores on the MM issue :/ Hard to say if it's because they didn't know how many they were getting, or if Nintendo was in bad communications with them. Sorry to hear about it though :/ I got my Meta Knight the first day it went up, so not sure if that helped my chances any. My local store has been pretty good with putting things on hold, at least.
My local Gamestop has been amazing though, and helped me sort out my MonHun4 LE mess from ship-to-store. Some of GS's hybrid shipping forms like that still need the bugs worked out of it.

Thanks, well they were certified 2/02. according to this chart and release date is 3/20.
Since the Spring Smash wave 4 is scheduled for late april, I guess preorders will open up in the next couple of weeks.

Our TRU had two Foxes on Thursday. I couldn't believe it because I hadn't seen him in months. Didn't get one because I already have one and I'm not an eBay guy. They both were gone by Friday at noon.

I don't know if I really want to pick up Gold/Silver version since I'm full invested to finish my smash line up.
I'm willing to do other line up if it's Xenoblade, Golden Sun or Chrono Trigger. (It is good thing that it's unlikely)
I think the all retailers have released him except Gamestop but I'm not 100% sure.
Ayup, and some stores had him online only (target). He's one of the rarest ones with Dedede (probably rarer since Fire Emblem fans like to gobble up more than one).
While I have no illusions that the recent end of the port strike will give birth to a restocking of Wave 1 and 2 figs that can no longer be found. I do believe that we may see some more Wave 3 figs come back in stock (3d, Ike, Sonic, MM) but probably not the exclusive 4.
But then what happened with Toot'n Totum's exclusive? Did the deal fall through?
Only about a dozen Ikes were released across the U.S. so it may as well have not been released. But yes, every retailer technically has released Ike except GameStop, which will be Wednesday.

I wonder if they got a restock of Lucario. I was there recently and saw pegs for him and Fox, but thought they might have been older ones. I still have to assume he's gonna be on the uncommon to rare side as in the odds of going to a store and seeing him hanging there is pretty slim.

Unboxed displays are so nice. Unfortunately, I'm still in school and move every 4 months because of co-op. So I'm going to keep it boxed at my parent's house, and when I finally get my place in two years, I'm going to unbox them and display them all pretty.

Give it time. There are enough characters out there to ensure that every retailer gets one. I started my new coporation last week and Nintendo has already sought me out to exclusivly carry Dry Bones amiibo.

What was so bad about it? Was as simple as flicking over the SD card and a 10 minute transfer for me.
Backing up and restoring a PS3 HDD is the real hell.
I bet they don't have access to the other 3DS, so Ninty is doing the xfer 'remotely'
