I just checked my card and they definitely charged me for it. Hopefully I'll get it soon.

On a side note, my Mega Man just shipped from Gamestop. I used the slowest shipping though so I'm not expecting him until early next week.
 
Funny that the store exclusive I was the most sure I could get is the one I didn't and that I figured Shulk and Lucario would be way worse and I got them pretty much no problem.
 
I have an extra Meta Knight that I'm looking to trade. Looking for US versions of Pit, Villager or Captain Falcon. Obviously Villager is more rare so I'd put money down on top of MK.

Well guys, i did. I finally bit the bullet. My parents gave me $100 dollars for my birthday last night, and told me to treat myself to something i really wanted.

Today, i finally bought a goddamn International Villager. So long as it actually comes in one piece, i will officially be caught up q_q

I can breath finally.

Got my last 4 today. Apparently I was one of the lucky few, the guy at GS said they had 10 preorders for Ike and could only fulfill 3 of them. That's just insane to me.

I feel like Wave 4 is going to take a lot longer to show up the more I think about it.

We're getting a new line on the 20th, there's talk of restocks of Ike, Dedede, Marth, and Shulk. Speculation of restocks of WFT, Villager and Mac- as well as speculation Meta Knight is time exclusive. On top of that, these figures are likely driving sales of Smash, which is getting Mewtwo DLC sometime in late March-May (and could also include more than just Mewtwo).

This would put the newest wave sometime in the summer. If they're assessing production, or wanting to reduce costs by shipping more in bulk which include the restocks, this could lead to Wave 4 launching later rather than sooner. This also would have perfect timing for wave 5/6 launching closer to Christmas in 2 fast batches of 6. They could announce DLC at some point to fill in the gap months where no amiibo are coming out for the game and keep people interested.

I feel like Wave 4 could go either way honestly. Maybe they are trying to prepare a larger batch and that is why pre-orders are taking so long. At the same time, I feel like it's possible that they could be even more elusive because half the set is lesser known characters. Of course any sensible person can plainly see that the character's notoriety seems to only increase demand for those characters who are less represented. Hopefully Nintendo is now aware of this and shifting resources accordingly, but we can only wait and see.
 
I feel like wave for preorders will go up soon after the super Mario bros line hits stores. Im thinking the release date will probably slide into early may.
 
Ugh...Just when I got up the nerve to ask my fiance's father to acquire a Meta-Knight amiibo from a Best Buy near his home, the fucking thing is already gone...

Seriously, why is this so difficult? It should really not be this fucking difficult to buy these things, not that that's saying anything new in this topic.

some gamestops in my area got ike a few days ago meanwhile the one i picked for pick up at store still hasn't. man, I think for wave 4 i might just ship to home, my local gamestop is sooo fucking slow. >_< ill stop by there later and see whats good with my ike since the lady told me wednesday.

The anticipation for a Lucina pre-order is killing me. Hopefully it's over soon whether I get one or not.

NoA deserves to catch flak for tweets like that. I realize these things are supply constrained, but they didn't have to pull all the retailer exclusive crap to make it worse. Yes, I'm still bitter about Rosalina.

The only way they would be more elusive is because more are now buying into the amiibo hype and draw. I have a feeling supply isn't going to be an issue, at least not in NA.

Unless scalpers buy 100 each, I'm having good feelings about Wave 4. They wouldn't keep waiting like this for preorders if they weren't doing something behind the scenes. And I'm hoping that something isn't...

...exclusivity. I would put 0 weight on that, I had a TRU employee tell me they didn't send much Marth out because they were gonna reprint due to the face being bad.
