Prepare for them to be more common. Went around to a few stores today in northern VA and everywhere seemed to be getting shipments of them. Worker at gamestop said like every store in the area had Sonics in stock. Also it made an old guy who was shopping for his son real happy too. He was about to leave a Best Buy when I started chatting with him about amiibo and like 10 minutes later when we were wrapping up a worker came up with both Sonic and Megaman to put on the shelf. I already have them so he got both of them for his kid.
 
I have a feeling that the Mario Gold Amiibos are going to end up being extremely common. These stock updates appear to be purposeful. My guess is we keep seeing these on a daily/semi-daily basis for quite some time.
 
I'm now going to sit at my computer and refresh this page every 30 seconds until Gold Mario goes up again.

It seems its the only way i'm going to be able to buy one because the past four times he goes up i've been busy.

I'm on the same boat as you. Stepped away from internet for a few minutes and it went up and gone. Lol I think the amiibo gods don't want me to have him.

Just called gamestop about sonic and was told they didn't have any then the guy opened up a new box in the back because the computer said he would get some at some in the back of the box you guys might try calling Gamestop to see if they have any sonics and stock
 
I just spent $40 on Amazon for a Meta Knight... Only one I don't have and I was desperate. At least the collection is complete for now, and Wave 4 is pre-ordered on Amazon UK.

Also, if anyone gets an extra Gold Mario they want to sell, hit me up. Willing to pay a little extra if needed.

Toon Link and Mega Man in da house!! They look amazing :') Huge thanks to SalvaPot for making this possible! This two amiibo doesn't exist where I live so this is a big deal to me :') Especially with Mega Man since he was my most wanted amiibo since this things were announced at E3.

Nintendo UK online store opened and closed pre-orders ~3 weeks ago in a couple dozen minutes

Amazon UK did the same one week later, and apparently offered a couple more (although not all of them) two days ago in the middle of the night for half an hour.

Same for ShopTo UK, I think, but I'm not sure.

Elsewhere in Europe, Amazon Fr opened and closed preorders ten days ago ; Amazon It and Es have them "unavailable", not sure if they were preorderable. Many more shops have opened and closed preorders, including all major shops in France as far as I can tell.

Curiously, there's virtually no german shops that have opened preorders for wave 4 yet.


I've yet to place a preorder somewhere I can trust T_T (Technically, I have a FNAC preorder, but I don't trust them. At all. Shipping date is 7-10 of March, and half the Amiibos I ordered there have been cancelled.)

Went to Gamestop today to see if they had any leftover extras of amiibos, and the woman who had the last Ike, DDD, Megaman, and Sonic there walked in after I asked if I could buy them lol. Was gonna give you guys the extras here lol.
 
Danish online stores opened pre-orders for wave 4 before Amazon UK even did and I somehow missed out on very single one of them. I'm usually pretty good at keeping tabs at stuff like this, but they must have went fast. Quite unusual, but I guess online pre-orders goes way faster than physical store ones

Also, fuck Coolshop and their ridiculous prices on the rare ones just because they can
 
Hey guys so Gamestop shipped some Amiibo to me last Friday and they arrived in fairly bad condition. I emailed them on Monday and they still haven't gotten back to me. Should I call? Has anyone dealt with them yet about Amiibos?

are they rare amiibo? you could technically take them to a local GS and ask for an exchange

I have a similar situation, except with Best Buy. My Mega Man came completely smashed (no pun intended). The figure itself is fine but the rest of it is pretty damaged. Since they're out of stock, am I SOL?
 
Finally got to pick up a Mega Man for myself. (Had bought one for a friend who works night shift and is a huge MM fan)

Now I continue to wait for Ness (but I would totally buy a Waluigi if they make one)
