It's moreso her being the one of the few semi-interesting gals in a cast whose mainstays are pretty Zzzzzzz (Megumi is fine tho).

Tokyo Ghoul Re 18-19: Man, I should just wait 'till a volume or two worth of chapters is piled up and then go through 'em 'cause the combination of the content and pacing ain't doin' it for me at all.

So this manga is about as good as I expected to be (which in this case is, very good). I regret not reading it alongside you guys, but at least I have a ton of chapters to read through.

Expecting some great things from this manga

Actually, I recall evangeline saying that Negi wouldn't be a human anymore if he went through the darkness of magia erebea and that he wouldn't be the same ever again...

...But I didn't think the effects would be this serious. Maybe because of the transformation, his seed is incompatible thus unable to impregnate human females? Too many variables, we need more info how touta came to be.

and this puts even bigger question marks on Chao Lingshen. If she is of springfield lineage, how did she came to be if negi is sterile? too many questions... and now that I think about it, her use of magic too was questionable. She had to use some sort of forbidden seal to do what she does, she didnt do it like normal magic users like negi or eva does. That would mean like touta, she too was struggling with magic. a coincidence?

Akamatsu done made more questions than answers. I hope he will answer them.
Makes series all more enjoyable that akamatsu would think that far ahead.

just was wondering how he would stand up to what's been going on (especially post Battle of Gods) and its just really dumb while making some kind of sense. LOL

I see Toriyama continues to not give a shit about this series but yet still makes it (the contrivances in Battle of Gods was also bad but Beerus's attitude and good ol DBZ fighting made up for most of it) . Gotta follow dat money i guess

Persona 4 the Manga 1-3

Decided to start reading on a lark. I expected to be entertained, but was surprised at the strength of the adaptation. Sogabe's art is really strong stuff, for one, and I already appreciate how the manga is 'filling out' various moments in the narrative to flow better. There are worse ways to re-experience P4.

The most obvious thing is her great character design, but she's feisty, fun, has a much more interesting character dynamic between Dark Soma and herself versus Erina and her secretary, and her sciency-as-fuck cooking style is neat and very unique among the cast. She also actually seems to be having a good time when she does things whereas Erina is a black hole devoid of any joy or sympathy.

Ultimately, not on Tadokoro's level (who is?), but infinitely superior to Erina in pretty much every way.

Actually Touta's "parents" were evil scientists working for the Mage of the Beginning and were killed by Fate before they could harm him, so he's a good guy after all.
Touta's sword is actually Asuna's spirit emboding the steel

Ah true, I forgot this one, but maybe I subconsciously didn't consider it the same as Pretty Face as the MC isn't transformed durably into a girl.
