The Walmart twitter account is literally saying a variant of "This is a message from Lord Nergal. "I await you on the Dread Isle."" I mean "Please speak to your local store manager about them and their availability on 3/20." even to the people who say they don't have a clue

I really hope Nintendo's recent tweets about the Gold Mario preorders only accounting for a fraction of the store's stock is true. I won't be waiting in line but I will arrive as the store is opening to see if I can get one.

I remember seeing bids for Wii-U pre-orders selling on ebay for $700 a month or so before release. I don't understand people sometimes.

Yea, I'm a bit confused about it. You got King Dedede, Mega Man, Lucario for example who all look AMAZING, and then there's Marth's face, Peach's face, just fucking terrible.

Shulk is another candidate for low supply due to manufacturing problems. He is really complex with a lot of separate parts glued on for details.
Dedede has lots of parts as well, though his paint job seems consistently the best of almost every amiibo so far.

Peach is one of the reasons I'm not going for a whole collection. She was one of the first ones I saw in person, and when I looked at her face I said nope. Even her trophy stance is lame to me. She's a smash bros amiibo but looks like she's a mario tea party amiibo. She should be doing something either cool or funny, like holding a turnip or toad. Same goes for Zelda.

Why assume those two characters are aimed at girls? And if we go with the presumption that those two characters are marketed for girls, why does that mean they can't be doing something funny, charming, or cool? These are for gaming fans, more directly for people who dig Smash Bros, whether they are girls or guys. And as a smash bros fan and a fan of Peach as a fighter, I find her trophy concept dull, and the execution, i.e., her face, cringe-worthy.

I ordered a Lucario from them as well back when it first released. No tracking either and took just about 2 weeks to arrive. There might be a chance it still arrives (emphasis on the "might").
