Sighhhhhh ;___; I went amiibo hunting ALL DAY yesterday looking for Sonic and I found nothing so you just win the day with Sonic, plus Mega Man and Toon Link.
From the looks of that CPSIA, I wonder if Nintendo has gotten wise to our data mining and from now on will call all of its CPSIAs "amiibo" generically. We'll never know what's coming down the pike or getting reprinted, as if we could get any less information...

ugghhh... no offense to anyone who wants these things to be rare, but I'm really REALLY hoping they're gonna be disgustingly common like the one Skylander exclusive.

I made the first preoder. WalMart cancelled it. Made the second preorder later that day, wal mart ended up canceling that too just a few days ago. Then preorders again this morning, too slow to checkout. I'm too lazy to post it but "f it meme.gif" and f u wal mart.

Sunday is the worst day to look, unless it's in a store's ad. Shipments come Monday - Friday (and Saturday in many locations). Looking Sunday means everything has already been on the shelf for at least a day.

I disagree actually. Saying retailer confusion amongst all nations doesn't explain why it "had to happen."
The reason why it happened according to the members who left was because this thread was dominated by too many US posts and people posting about found Amiibo without saying where they're from. It's no ones fault if people posting were mostly from the US and splitting off into different regions and countries was and is redundant. And I disliked when people from any country posted their finds without also posting their locations, and it urked me when we all had to waste a post by asking where all the time. All countries were guilty of doing this, not just people from the US.
US? Orrrrrrrr?? If it's US, I wish he was. But then if he were up for sale, he would already be gone.
If it's Europe, he was up at a few different places but sold out. NZ, Austrailia, and Amazon Japan, same thing.

Basically, scanning certain amiibo unlock costumes based on said amiibo for the different characters (Mario & Luigi for Luffy, Marth for Brooke, Wii Fit Trainer for Nami, Link for Zoro, Fox for Sanji, Samus for Robin, Kirby for Chopper, Yoshi for Usopp, & DK for Franky).

I hate to be dramatic but this community is dead. You can only divde it up so much before there is nothing left of it. I think the number one thing that split the community is fear and greed. I used to post in OT one and two all the time. The hype was real then but I noticed greed has taken over the amiibo communities ,both here and on reddit. Everyone is out for their selves with buying multiples to "trade" and are just buying up any amiibo they see out of fear. I saw soooo many pictures of people having two sonics shipped from target when sonic went up for a little bit.
This is just my opinion and I hope you really dont care, but I feel no desire to post on here or reddit anymore. It has nothing to do with wave 4 preorders and everything to do with fear, greed, and paranoia in buying amiibo. That is ultimately why the community has split. The user said it above earlier why they created line (whatever that is) to get rid of the "clutter" and just get info. Im sorry a community is clutter and we are getting in the way of you desperately needing an amiibo. Reddit s way worse but thats because it hasnt been split up with 4 Amiibo OT's and some line thing.

The Amiibo thread was crazy busy because new Amiibos were coming out every week for a solid month at half a dozen different retailers and preorders for the Super Mario line were going up at the same time. Nothing's happening on the Amiibo front right now so there's not much to talk about. Things will pick up a bit on March 20 and they'll pick up quite a bit when Wave 4 eventually releases, hopefully next month. It'll be OK.

I don't know how much the rest of you know about LINE (I'm an expert), but amiibo and friendship are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in the thread where you can become successful by posting about how bad LINE is. If you talk smack about LINE even though it's accepting and public, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.
What this means is AmiiboGAF, after hearing about LINE, is not going to want to purchase amiibo for themselves nor others, nor will they purchase any of Nintendo's games. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but AmiiboGAF has alienated an entire community by separating.
AmiiboGAF, publicly apologize and cancel the LINE groups or you can kiss your community goodbye.

I can't believe people are freaking out about the Line groups. I was in the general chat one and it's just chitter chatter totally unrelated to Amiibo (or it was when I was logged in), I left because the alerts kept blowing up my phone, but it's really nothing to get worked up about at all.
Speaking of which, if you have room in the alert group for wave 4, if i can have an invite, that'd be great. I didn't initially join cause there's nothing I immediately want in 4, but who knows once they get released and the fever hits. Plus I was saving room for someone else since I thought space was limited to 100.
