i dont understand why people keep posting on gaf with stupid questions instead of playing and discovering shit by themselves.

this is like asking questions aloud in a theater or shitting on the mona lisa.

just enjoy it guys, at least for the first few hours, ffs.

Thread is moving so fast <_<.

Sorry to ask again but does anyone have any experience with the co-op yet? Can you co-op the entire game?

you cant coop the entire game, this info is easily obtainable eveywhere on the internet man. this is working like the other souls game. you are just "helping" other player or invading them to kill them.

Near the sewers, in that tower-like building filled with beasts and wooden planks. In the top part there will be a window behind a bunch of barrels, right near the L shaped staircase with a beast in it, go down it and you'll see some corpses hanging with glowing items in them, cut their chains then go down to grab the items. One of them is the saw spear.

Thanks for the info! even though it's lower grade than my axe, still nice to switch it up.

Ok I went to put my controller down to go to the bathroom and may have inadvertently
killed the guy in the Hunters Dream? He just vanished in a puff of smoke after one hit. Is he gone for good?
Anyone else make this mistake?

What's wrong with me? I've got work in 6 hours & I haven't slept yet, every time I try to quit the game pulls me back in. So far I put just a bit less than 7 hours in the game & I only beat two bosses, I just love exploring the game & taking my time.

I wanted to help a few people in coop, but it seems that I can't do that just yet for some reason.

some people enjoy the interactivity and community aspect of discovering and discussing games with others as they play.

just let them be

Yeah, why even have an OT! Shut it down mods

Yeah, but make sure the tall, blue skinned guy with a bag over his shoulder is there. I have heard rumors you have to kill (boss)
Bloostarved Beast
before these guys show up but I really don't know yet.
by "tall enemy" you mean one of the huge enemies with the axe? I killed the boss you mentioned but honestly those enemies are still the same.

To be fair From tends to be very cryptic about extremely important game mechanics, so its not so bad to give people a hand so they have a better experience. And "shitting on the mona lisa"? Really?

I know people who will constantly ask questions about characters or plot during a movie, they just can't help themselves.

I also accidentally did this and would like to know if I'm trouble for it.

I don't understand how retrieving lost echos works. Like, it just seems like I randomly get them back while fighting things, sometimes not even all that close to where I died. Does anyone know how it's supposed to work?

You have to kill the enemy that killed you to get them back. They'll have glowing eyes if they have your Blood Echos.

Bloodstarved Beast guys? I just can't do it, and Vicar Amelia is even worse. Rocking the Gascoigne set plus Threaded Cane +3. Any way to get Twin Blood Shards for me right now? Or I need to pass these two before?

mainly because i don't care to figure this shit out. I usually get incredibly frustrated at hard games and I took a chance on this one.

Nope, you'll know it when you see it.
Tall blue skinned guy, black robes, bare feet, giant tan cloth bag slung over his shoulder. I saw one in Cathedral Ward after killing Bloodstarved Beast.

What are the requirements for the beckoning bell? I have 12 Insight and it's still greyed out.

You can only use it in certain places. Try moving around / away from a boss arena or whatever.

PS4 question: Are Sharefactory videos lower quality than original captures? I dont want to keep uploading 15 minute videos every so often (or do I)?

yeah but super obvious stuff like "where can I find the first weapon" seems so evident to me... ffs just try to find it for more than 30 seconds

First off, because two copies of the game costs $120.00 to open.

Second, the depth of co-op is not easily obtainable everywhere on the internet. I've been searching for weeks off and on trying to get more information on how the co-op works. The only thing that was "easily obtainable" was you need a bell this time around and you can co-op in the chalice dungeon.

Even your answer doesn't actually answer my question, what is "helping"? Do both players get progress/loot etc?. I'm staring at the box, the only thing it says is "Cooperative play for up to 3 players".

I'm not interested in unwrapping two sealed copies of the game if I can't play with my husband.

1h in rest mode : 2,1gb downloaded

should've done this from start...

From software are notorious for not explaining anything in their games and for some reason people praise them for it.

As a result, people usually ask questions, especially because the game is so unforgiving and has long load times so you don't really want to die.

Game so hard I can't even equip the first weapons I get

This going to be a long night
(ended up discarding them because it wouldn't let me equip or use them so now I'm bare handed again)

Was I suppose to pick the axe? I picked the cane

I killed him at level 29 with Cane +3. no idea how to farm twin shards, I need those too.
there is a set with high resistance to poison, I don't recall the name but you get it early. it's probably better than the Gascoigne set. boss isn't hard to dodge, just get the timing right.
if you want later I'm up for co-op.
