Just found out Kentucky Route Zero has soundtrack included(same with Shadowrun games),
Too late to love you now
in act 3 is god tier.

GTA SA was loved because it had the huge world (multiple big cities and areas in between!) and lots of fun things to do in it. GTA5 has mostly replaced that with the graphical update, but it was pretty mind blowing at the time and was basically as good as Vice City (ie identical missions) or better in just about every way.

Except the music sucked in comparison. Big time.

But from what i saw and heard GTA V has issues with using full map potential. But as i said i only heard that form couple of people and saw in few gameplay videos.

What do you exactly mean by full map potential?

Missions are not equally distributed around the map. GTA V has really diverse map and there is lot potential in that. But as i said i haven't played GTA V yet so i don't know what missions are there and where they are taking place on the map.

Yes, there are more missions generated from the densely populated city versus the barren desert. That being said, you do spend a good portion of the game in the desert.

...I had no problem with mission distribution.

I actually liked the diversity too. And iirc, none of the story, side, or random stuff felt like a chore to do. None of those awful fetch quests.

Yeah, I think a lot of empty space kind of takes away from big maps as well.

I guess GTA Online missions could count too. All those races, challenges etc. are in GTA Online instead in SP. Also i was really sad when i found out that number of interiors was low. No casino, no Cluckin' Bells, no dinners etc. But i guess we can't get everything every time :D

Whatever SE announces in the next three days, what's the likelihood it gets released on PC the same time as consoles (assuming it's a Western game)? Didn't buy new games on PC when DE:HR and the last Hitman and TR came out so I have no idea.

Hoping for DE, expecting Hitman.

Good morning GAF (or whatever time it is where you live). It's my birthday today (yeah, yeah reapercomic.jpg), and also tomorrow is my 10 year Steam Anniversary.

Also Happy Easter.

So have some games.

Thanks!
INNN in the last minute. :)

Happy birthday!

Actually, GTA:O, I do have a problem with. Feels like you have to rely on alerts or just do a search for games/missions, instead of just being able to go to one of the waypoints and hope that there are people in it.

But yeah, like you said, I too wish there were more interiors and other things to do.

Just finished Episode 1. Let me preface by saying it is not horrible.

I feel this DLC somehow took the more-of-the-same philosophy too literal. Nothing I did felt new, nothing surprised me. In fact, it all felt like ideas which were discarded for the main game.

Totally forgettable besides the first 5mins introducing the Citadel's new state and the last 5 mins showing the Citadel's new state... -_- yeah, you get where I'm going. It was all filler for what could be a very small section. Oh, and those two parts were not gameplay as well.

Off to Episode 2.

Just saw someone posted a Titan X unboxing thread on a local forum, and then benchmarked it with Ragnarok Online and Maple Story, I want to punch something.

WHAT. SA's rock and oldies selections were pretty good. Actually, looking it all up the track list was great. Bowie, America, Kiss, Michael Jackson, Heart, The Isley Brothers, etc.

Seriously, check out the tracklist for each station; its quite good.

Oh man, I really miss @NeoGAFNewThread on Twitter.

Does anyone here know about an alternative or something? I really hate missing some new threads/news over the day and -specially- over the night =(

I never finished hl2 ep1, i thought it was more like a rehash of similar designs from 2, like a remix or something, so I eventually stopped playing and played ep2 instead. I liked ep2 more, although I could barely remember what it was about other than the ending, I might replay them when I get the time to.

I have friends who like Halo, but I can't shake the feeling that the series is so desired on PC simply because it was a person's first FPS.

even as someone who isn't too fond of the series, there's a pacing and rhythm to a halo fight that i don't think anything outside of Destiny has captured, and obviously there's a good reason that they did so.

Just like how it plays, mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

I've played both Halo and Halo 2 on PC and I had to play with a controller. Playing with KBM felt like moving in water.

Having said that, Halo still is a really good controller FPS.

Only took 2 days off last week and there is an avalanche of work to get done today. I think I will use SteamGAF to help get me through the day.

I used to have a copy of Halo 1 for Mac back in the day. I didn't have an xBox so I obtained a copy for my PowerBook G4. I only played through a little bit of it though because the controls felt off.

Only played Halo 1 with any fervor back in college with other dorm folks, was pissed off that pistols got nerfed in 2 and never played again; could also be that I graduated and got busy, but I'll blame the pistol nerfing.
