That's my philosophy on the situation.

Something like NOLF in particular, the copyright owners aren't even willing to attempt to put the game up. Night Dive's story on the situation is infuriating.
 
GTAV bought and preloaded. Steam is so fast. Took 3.5 hours.

I could have gotten it cheaper from GMG or something but I had a chunk of Steam credit thanks to a nice case opening in CS:GO so figured why not. I like things in my Steam library anyways.

Now to wait....
 
How long does it usually take for Valve to respond to a support e-mail? I know their customer support is supposed to be pretty bad, but geez.

Generally 1-3 days. Much longer during or shortly after the big sale periods.

For me, I've waited a day or two, and I've waited two weeks. What sucks is waiting for more than a few days, only to receive an automated response that is not helpful whatsoever.

I just saw Furious 7 in cinema. Last couple of minutes was dead silence in auditorium. Really amazing tribute to Paul, i left cinema with tears in my eyes and i am not ashamed for that.

I am there, but that doesn't mean that the message of a possibility for a better more "community-based" non-hierarchical message board shouldn't be argued for and at least some words as food for thought.

Now, obviously, I'm no fool, the staff here enjoy their power and would be reluctant to say the least to even begin to entertain these ideas. But, I guess it's nice to dream and spread the word there's maybe better ways of doing things.
 
I'm really liking my time with dragon age 3, game stays looking pretty no matter where i go. i saw a dragon fighting 2 giants which was really cool(i know this part is scripted cause i remember my friends mentioning this same part). still miss my healing class tho.

i was gonna watch it on wednesday but the theater was super packed, i simply don't care enough about the film to wait in that huge line. I don't mind waiting till its on hbo.

B-but they have Koei in development and Sony wants to bring it to consoles, so there's a good chance it would be localized.

I'm not worried in the least.

And yet, this forum, each day, today, even as I type this, and yesterday, and the day yet to be, continues to exist with constant contribution. The community mindset quite clearly demonstrates that they're fine with the basic set of rules in place.

Could it be that your "clear outlines" of what is cool and what isn't don't coalesce with my clear outlines, much less those of the community that slouches ever on so, so much more steadily than bans are issued?

If my access to a public-yet-closed community means I concede discourse about a guy who liked a neo-Nazi news source but only because he likes to get his news from there and not because he's a neo-Nazi, no, not at all, because those two aren't inherently linked on some level, then that is a decision I have to make before continuing access to that community. I, personally, think it's worth it.

If it means I don't get to say exactly what I think, I still think it's worth it. I'm a much bigger asshole in real life than I am here. Just the other day I made a post about Salsa's thread that was kind of crass, and I made it in jest, but I was concerned that it didn't come across and I'm still concerned. That's not EviLore's extensive iron fist. That's the community's will, and my desire to subject myself to it.

But what I really want to know is if Not A Hero is as good as I hope it is.

The localized names for some of the part five stands in All Star Battle are the worst of all.

Seriously, who thought it was a good idea to call Aerosmith "Lil Bomber?"

At least the voice acting wasn't altered. And Filthy Acts at a Reasonable Price is pretty good way to skirt copyright issues.
