Well, publishers thought the XB1 would be doing a lot better at this point in time.
The KH collection should be also coming to the Xbox One, don't be silly people. Why would they ignore the whole XB1 userbase for prequels of a game which is relasing for said console?
Is Square Enix that stupid?
Selling less than the ps4 yes no one will fight you on that, but the system is far from a failure, it's selling more than the 360 was at this point in its life cycle and is selling enough to that a publisher wouldn't just ignore it.

Look at recent japanese games on ps4 and xbone and then compare the sales between them. Instal base is just part of the equation.
"cryptic"Yes.
Yep. People act like KH was always a PS exclusive, yet we have KH games on GBA and Nintendo DS.
There's always a chance.
Never played a kingdom hearts game but love Disney so would love to play them, only have a ps4 atm so no other platforms to play them on.
Again i should note that i dont believe this game should be ps4 exclusive, I'm just asking the reasons why it'd ever be on it, from a business standpoint. Since i cant find one when the business is ran in a place where the console is likely as dead as the vita is over here.
As a business would it make sense as far the install base? I'm not an accountant but the consider that right?
They probably will be released for current gen consoles.
I think it's more of a question of timing than anything else.
They probably will release it again a couple of months before KH III releases to build up hype for the game.
Okay touché, but they should eat up the costs if it wouldn't end up being profitable enough. Not releasing a XB1 version would be one of their most questionable decisions to date.Squeenix isn't exactly known for being sensible
Of course you should, although Kagari already gave an answer on that one. The real question is will it be on Xbox One. FFX isn't and neither remaster is on the 360.
PC release would be awesome since I do not trust SE to have em running 60fps on PS4. Hoping for the best anyway.
WAT
I hope you are not serious.
FF Type 0 is on XboxOne and FF15 will be. Your agenda against the Xboxone is really strong.
Hopefully on Xbox one as well, if they intend on releasing 3 on the system.
This is exactly what will happen. Maybe this year since they don't have anything else to release. Otherwise probably next.I fully expect a PS4 KH collection. The new hook will be an HD version of the 3DS game. 5 games, $60.
Neither is FF7. SE has weird decision making processes sometimes.
"When we first came up with the idea for Kingdom Hearts III, it was always 1.5, then 2.5 and we were always thinking about those three titles at the same time," he explains. "I think [putting the games on PS4] is something well explore. We understand what our players want, so we will explore the possibility. Im not making any announcements though, we cant make any announcements yet!"
But while Sony gamers would likely appreciate the refresher, with Kingdom Hearts III heading to Xbox One as well as PS4, arguably it's Xbox owners that need the earlier installments of the game more than anyone else. When asked about whether an Xbox One edition of 1.5 and 2.5 could ever see the light of day, Yasue was hesitant. While the initial reasoning behind this was thought to be the initial exclusivity deal with Sony, it seems resources play just as much of a part.
"Its a big old question," he says. "Theres a lot of things we need to think of when we consider consoles. One of them is what our players want, so we will definitely consider that. But theres also schedule constraints, as we really dont want the development of Kingdom Hearts III going later, so we have that to think about. Well consider all these things and come to a decision."

I wanna go "LOL SE!" But then again there are those rumblings about the Type-0 splits. Those very one sided splits.
Yes.
I doubt they'll ignore the XB1 usebase. However, I don't think the KH remixes have been released on any xbox platform yet. Idk if amazon doing this is too soon but it looks possible. The KH collection should be also coming to the Xbox One, don't be silly people.
