Do you know?
Excited for this one, but concerned about just how short the development cycle seemingly is. Based on the creative director's blog post, they were presented with the opportunity to make the game in spring 2013, so from there to wrap up Battlefield and staff up, that is very little time for a November 2015 release. Even with a mostly ready engine. I hope they just make the tough choice of dropping single player campaign and focus on just multiplayer.
*throws money at him then picks it back up* going to need that for the premium.GET HIM BOYS

Two years has been a pretty common development cycle once the tech is mostly in place. We are just getting used to these three to four year cycles recently because studios have had to completely rebuild their engines. I would think we will be starting to see development times go back down to around two years soon now that most studios have built their new engines. Battlefront should be fine considering its 2.5 year development time and the leasons learned from the BF4 launch/patching.Excited for this one, but concerned about just how short the development cycle seemingly is. all aboard the hypestar!!! May I get a spot?
If mass effect 4 drops in 2016, it'll have had a 4 year turn around time from ME3.Two years has been a pretty common development cycle once the tech is mostly in place. So I haven't read through this whole thread, but "we" are kinda certain this will incorporate the tech of the earlier "scrapped" Battlefront? Right?
And I mean especially the transitioning from a land battle into a space battle (flying your x-wing all the way into space and even into bigger craft)
Or am I just dreaming now?

No one?
I haven't been following any updates or news lately (been on the road the last 7 months traveling through Asia)
No solid info about the game has been released/leaked yet so nobody really knows anything for sure.
Hitting the sack, I've added everyone up to here. g'nite!

I'm just skimming the pages, so I cannot see everyone. Guarantee is to quote me, as those get marked for me. You'll be in the next update
Hype has reached critical mass, I'm leaving a lecture early just to catch the stream.
I mean, yeah, it's an irresponsible thing to do but, A) It's a lecture. B) This is Battlefront. It's worth it.
You're expecting that IQ on PS4? if so it'll be you who will eat crowStill unbelievers i see - be prepared to eat some serious crow. People are so greatly underestimating what developers are gonna be able to do with the new console hardware once they start utilizing it the way it was designed to be utilized...especially the PS4 and of course PC with upcoming DX12.
That first screen shot is very very well in line with what we should expect this generation. Dev's are just now starting to scratch the surface on the new hardware and it will only improve as time goes on.
Everyone forgot about Battlefield 4 already?
Add me please if there's still room...so hyped for this.
Battlestations: EndorWhat if instead of Battlefield's Hackers/Commanders/whatever there is one person on each team piloting the Star Destroyer/Rebel ship
