Is this so hard??

Joker fan art painted on cosplay Joker.

It's like someone put Joker internet fandom in a blender and WB/DC asked, "can you make it slightly rule 34 as well?"

I hate the grills and the excessive tattoos.
And I hate the fact that he's not even wearing a suit.
Terrible so far. Terrible.

It's like the old saying, "crazy people don't worry that they're crazy." Crazy people don't tattoo "damaged" on their head. That takes a level of intention that the criminally insane don't possess. It's something that a person who desperately wants other people to think they're crazy does.

I sincerely hope Harley doesn't look anything like him. We've waited so fucking long for live action Harley, and giving us some monstrosity that looks like...this...will just be infuriating.

I doubt he's going to stay shirtless throughout. Lets wait and see what Jared does with the role. I have complete faith in him.

I'm okay with the tattoos only if there's an extended sequence in the movie showing Joker forcing some innocent tattoo artist to cater to his demands under pain of death.

I just imagine him sitting there with a tattoo artist going "uh yeah write HAHAhahAHhahahA but like with this weird font that kinda shows up in the comics when I laugh y'know"

People were down on TDK Joker too when images first appeared.

Pretty sure Heath's Joker was widely well received when it was first revealed.

I think the difference is that there was already an established universe, and you could see how this Joker would fit Nolan's movies.

We don't know shit about Ayer's Suicide Squad, and the quality of his movies is so all over the place that who knows what are we going to end up getting. I'll say one thing, being as different as possible from Nolan's Joker is the best route possible.

Something a bit different. Better than just doing Ledger Joker again.

Kinda want to see it in motion before passing final judgement. I would imagine we'll get some sort of purple suit at some point.

No, a ton if people called him hobo joker and similar things, people thought it would be terrible.

This is a great interpretation of the Joker for young superhero film kids in 2015. It's a nice zone between pandering to its era but committed to the idea of Joker.

I'm into it. Swerves back towards Cesar Romero for no reason than it's possible to do so post-Ledger.

First impression: wtf
After thinking about it for a few seconds: this is pretty awesome. Of course Joker would get into the prison lifestyle of gang tattoos and shit.

not completely sold on it but i'll have to see him in action to make a judgement

i think they just had to go in a completely different direction compared to Ledger

That's... not quite what I expected.

At least it's different, always interesting to see new interpretations of the character. Not a big fan of the tattoos, other than that I'll reserve judgement until we see him in motion.

Please, Joker in many incarnations seems to know just how fucked up he is and even revels in it. Ledger's Joker knew it FFS.

Typical comic fan reactions to anything slightly different from the comics.
