I'm thinking MS tries to gravitate away from Halo or Gears closing a show here to put a further emphasis on their dedication to new and underused IP's, so I went with Scalebound, though I can also see it being an announced game, perhaps Rare's. With Sony I was tempted to put Horizon to close the show, but went with the the crowd in the end.

New IP opener --> ease into the familiar games ie Halo, Gears etc. --> Finish with another new game.

I really like this format, but I feel they are going to stick with the old... open with COD go into a ton of Halo gears fable stuff... then new games.

I still don't see why people think COD will be with Sony... is there something I've not seen?

I feel like unless Nintendo pulls a surprise Metroid or Paper Mario or some other megaton they're bound to have the worst E3 presentation. No Zelda, Mario Maker looks great but I hardly need to see anything about it, we know what there is to know, and I've seen more than enough of Xenoblade at this point. Yoshi's Woolly world i really don't need to see more of, its a yoshi game with a yarn artsyle, I don't need to see more. Star fox will be nice but i don't know, worried about the direct.

What about new announcements?

I actually think Nintendo, like last year and the year before, will announce the most amount of new games compared to MS/Sony.

TLG may not be a 'conference-closer' game, but it's not as if Sony's extremely particular about it either.

I mean, they closed PSX with Drawn to Death instead of say... SFV, which was the 'big' bomb of the event.

I don't know, they said they were focusing on 2015 games which didn't give me much hope. Like I said, if they can pull out Metroid or Paper Mario they'll be fine, but otherwise I'm not sure what they could announce that'll make for a good conference like last year.

That could have been a last minute change, because remember SFV leaked before PSX.

he never said Rockstar Games ^^

Lockstarter sounds like Rockstar but could also be another studio....

Can't think of any other publisher that sounds like that, and that is big enough to warrant being in a list like he posted.

true, still hard to believe that Rockstar is working on a exclusive game on Ps4.
it would be great if Lockstarter turns out to be Rockstar and Lazyeye = Activision working on a crash reboot

For us, sure.

But for the vast majority of gamers who have no idea what this game is since literally nothing has been seen since the initial trailer? Probably not.

Well for people watching E3 it's a big deal. For the gaming media this will also be a big deal. Majority of people they don't even have any clue about what E3 is still.

Well, they were working on Agent, which was a PS3 exclusive, so it's not that hard to believe. Maybe it's Agent.
