This is my problem a lot too. I find myself getting salty as fuck and trying go back for revenge. When there's only 3 minutes there's no time for that.

.E-liter 3K is officially the WORST weapon in the game.
It maybe has the highest skill cap to use or frankly it's just bad. I've won a few matches with it but I contributed way less than with the other chargers (scopes might be just as bad). They need to do some balancing with it, like make it use way less ink or have better uncharge range, but I find it very hard to improve it without just straight up making it better.
EDIT: I guess it can do 100dmg at 3/4th charge, but still...better hope they have no def buff or you have power up (which maybe it's the only reason it can do 100 at 3.4)

That one was pretty brutal.
The game is quite similar to a MOBA in a lot of senses. You have to control areas of the map and have "lanes" to get there.
That community is nothing both vile gutter shit when someone types or speaks....so I'm fine with Nintendo not doing voice chat in game. However, I do wish Wii U supported party chat so GAF can at least talk to each other.

Actually, serious question time: do walls count as "turf" for Turf War tally purposes? Or is it only "walkable surfaces" in human-form?

All right, I'm done for now. GGs all! That was a lot of fun.
It ouranges every fucking weapon in the game.
One guy on an opponent's team was dominating with it fairly consistently.
Why?
JP players mixing with US 95% of the time, level 4s mixed with level 14s, sometimes obscene waits for matches (3 minute wait timer just now).
Suppose we'll know which is the reason by next week.
It isn't ranked mode so it doesn't sort by levels. Not sure what your problem with Japanese players is.
There is no matchmaking in Turf Wars, its just putting people from everywhere together.

I want to play aggressively, but the Pro is kind of a "strafe and make a field of ink" weapon. Was kind of rough in these bottlenecky maps. Had a couple nice inkstrikes at the end of the game. The last 20 seconds become, "Oh gawd, don't die before you can Inkstrike." Tense.

an incredibly poor idea then, a latency of players reacting to me is very noticeable when I'm playing vs JP players. Like you can tell there's a 200 ping difference between me hitting them and the server saying they got hit.
In a game with walls and ledges for cover everywhere. You sure it was the E-liter? The extra range is pitiful and takes an extra 33% amount of time to charge. And at 3/4th charge only does exactly 100 damage so if you got less than that you have to wait another long charge if you miss. I have to say, maybe people you were playing with were just not very good?
Like I said it may very well just have a high skill cap to use (and perhaps I need to make use of the balloons better). But even then it still possibly isn't that great compared to the other chargers. This isn't Battlefield where the maps are huge enough to need this long range especially at the cost of charge time. The opposite of what I said would actually be better: increase the ink usage but let it charge faster.
Playing with Japanese/Europeans results in a poor connection.

Never noticed that myself.
with the low install base it would be stupid to region lock multiplayer or wait even longer to match make.
i play with japanese players all the time and never noticed lag to hinder my enjoyment.

I've played with tons of Japanese players during daytime and night time and had almost no bad connections or lag with any of them. Heck I had several rooms where I was the only American and had no lag whatsoever. East Coast USA btw. Are ya'll sure it's not your connections?
