Was at a flylo show today and he played a instrumental/edit version of wesley's theory and damn it was amazing.

Hope it hits the internet one day.

I'm counting down the days man so I can invest in a record player.

You're waiting for a particular album to invest in vinyl? That's a huge waste. If you can't already see a reason to jump in then it's not worth it. You need a player, amp, speakers, SPACE, it's a pretty expensive endeavor to take on. Also with vinyl now being "cool", distributers are charging pretty much double for records then what they used to be sold for. I'm a vinyl user, and I warned a friend of mine who wanted to jump in because he thought it was cool, spent lots of money and it all collects dust.

Sorry not a vinyl bump. But a question about the cover. Kendricks holding a girl but one of her hands is edited out.anything about that?
56 pages I can't read all that.lol

The Ellen performance was sick. I'm guessing the lyrics went over 90% of the audience's head though. They don't usually let you sing about about pussy, prison and revenge sex on daytime TV.

Not sure if anyone saw this, but Kendrick has been wearing a unique "i" hat for all his press the last few months, and finally put out a few for retail today. Only 100 were made, and luckily I was able to get one, they sold out really quick not surprisingly. I've been looking for this hat ever since I saw him first wear it, pretty pumped to finally get it.

This is the hat

This is still without a doubt the best album of 2015. Im pretty confident it'll remain that way. I still give the album a full listen through when im working out.

Every Nigger is a Star!

Peace and love my fellow Negus'

Interscope needs to stop bullshittin and put out that TPAB vinyl for the streets

only like 4 months to go if the GKMC release is anything to go by. It's not all Interscopes fault either. Every pressing plant on the planet is being pushed to capacity on the monthly. Delays in the 4-6 months. The vinyl resurgence is killing vinyl.

Any news of him going on a tour any time soon? I know he's doing festivals, but I really need to see him do a solo show

Care to elaborate why you randomly posted this?

The context of blacker the berry is kendricks struggle with the more exposed recent events of white on black crime and police brutality with the discontent that is brewing within the community. Yet he calls his people hypocrites when black on black far exceeds white on black crime. He calls upon his people to take a closer look and fix the problems within first. At least that was my take on the song.

Seeing raw data for the first time was pretty shocking for me.

You hate my people, your plan is to terminate my culture
You're fuckin' evil I want you to recognize that I'm a proud monkey
You vandalize my perception but can't take style from me
And this is more than confession
I mean I might press the button just so you know my discretion
I'm guardin' my feelings, I know that you feel it
You sabotage my community, makin' a killin'
You made me a killer, emancipation of a real nigga

Once I finish this, witnesses will convey just what I mean
I mean, it's evident that I'm irrelevant to society
That's what you're telling me, penitentiary would only hire me
Curse me till I'm dead
Church me with your fake prophesizing that I'mma be just another slave in my head
Institutionalized manipulation and lies
Reciprocation of freedom only live in your eyes
You hate me don't you?
I know you hate me just as much as you hate yourself

Jealous of my wisdom and cards I dealt
Watchin' me as I pull up, fill up my tank, then peel out
Muscle cars like pull ups, show you what these big wheels 'bout, ah
Black and successful, this black man meant to be special
Katzkins on my radar, bitch, how can I help you?
How can I tell you I'm making a killin'?
You made me a killer, emancipation of a real nigga

Did you actually listen to the lyrics?

EDIT; Came of wrong. I agree with the point about hypocrisy but personally believe the song talks about institutional racism and hate aswell. Thats why he starts the verses with "Im the biggest hypocrite"

Love the video, man, especially with the cops holding the car up at the very beginning. And goddamn at that unreleased track. He needs to leak the stuff that didn't make the album!

I still think Kendrick killed someone. Blacker The Berry is just one in a long list of songs where he continually references being a murderer. He'd never outright admit it, but that's the impression I get. Especially in light of how emotional he gets when discussing Blacker The Berry, and how serious he is about religion/the baptism referenced in Sing About Me I'm Dying Of Thirst.
