With the screens they've released, it definitely feels like they'll show a lot at Comic Con.

Also, the Batman costume is interesting in that his neck looks larger because he's turning his head. It looks like they gave the cowl a lot of empty space in the neck region to allow him full mobility. Obviously, depending on how you shoot it will affect how it looks.

Agreed.

People know she doesn't derive her strength from actual physical mass or muscle right? She can be lean and strong, cuz she's the goddamn Wonder Woman.

yup, exactly

I mean, I'd have liked Kingdom Come's WW, strong build and still feminine as hell, but muscles certainly aren't the reason she is so strong

I hope to god no, let that be his hair and he loses it. The wig thing is so stupid and unlike a cocky/proud man like Lex.

No he didn't... he literally said it isn't.

He's said the story focuses more on Superman. It not being a sequel to MoS doesn't mean Superman can't also be the principle character. Just means it's not solely his movie.

Jesse will be fine as Lex, he's a good enough actor. Ben will be fine as Batman, but I'm expecting bottom tier Bruce.

I have no faith in Gal. I can already imagine her struggling trying to deliver those fierce WW lines.

Supes is the only 1 that looks good, WW looks skinny/model type no muscle at all, like she lifts the pink dumbbels, Bats looks puffy, dirty bulked, shouldve asked for better advice on how to 'gain muscle quickly'

What is this? A real life super heroes spin off? Batman is fat and Superman is balding. I bet Wonder Woman has cellulitis.

That batsuit looks shit in the light. It's a good thing we'll only see Bats at night. Not loving Affleck out of the suit either. If this film ends up being crap I'll still go and see it. :)

The EW shots always look like shit because they use editorial photographers.

They light things specifically in a way so that everything is balanced (for when they composite everything) and shows as much detail as possible.

They obviously don't get a shit about how it looks, they have their aesthetic and will stick to it at all cost.

I don't want to get dragged into the body-shaming debate, I really don't. And yes, I was one of the people who reacted to Gal's casting by saying that she looked skinny, judgement pronounced based on that photo of her at a gala event in a plunging black dress that showed off rain-thin arms and protruding sternum. She has since done the work, bulked up, and looks a healthier person.

I don't think that the cover photo is doing her any favors: her shoulders are back, her chest is out, her head is down, the lighting is bright and the whole thing screams "runway model fierce." The charity ball photo, I think, looks better. You can see some of the work.

Still.

I think that -- how can I put this? -- I think that, if her shoulders and arms had been worked on a bit more, had a little more definition in those photos, then the naysayers could shut up. Maybe it's there, and we're just not seeing it, but that's the whole problem.

Im guessing she's been skinny all of her life and its hard for her to gain weight? Because to gain weight you have to eat a lot more constantly every day + lift weights, something she's obviously not used to

Dude no no no, we have to bitch about Superman killing Zod first! Then you can bitch about Gadot

Gadot seems right in line with the two most well-known visual representations of the character.

Lynda Carter has a different body type and was around 10-15 pounds heavier back then than Gadot. If she was required to bulk up and put on muscle she probably would've had an easier time.

DCAU isn't a good comparison because they were fairly inconsistent with Diana and I think generally tried to keep the animation clean and avoid things like lines for muscle definition outside of when they couldn't avoid it.

Note to self: Don't do a Google Image Search of "DCAU superman shirtless" ever again.
