Fucking trailer has me hyped for this movie but even more hype for the solo Alfleck Batman. Since Robin is considered dead here, it opens the door wide open for Jason Todd in the Batman movie, which would be fucking hype!

Batfleck is about to deliver us the best onscreen Batman ever. Dat Grappling scene. my god!

So bad...looks like two things.
1) a child smashing his toys together and play acting a story they made up.
2) wonder woman, joker notes remind me of some batman fan film from a few years ago where there are a bunch of character cameos for no reason.

I dont read other peoples opinions because when something new like this releases their nerd hard ons are unrealistically huge but i cant imagine anyone watching this and thinking it looks good, unless you are like 9 years old.
More people need to see this post so more can laugh at it

Best "OMG it's actually happening" hype moment since Avengers for me

Actually the fact we've gotten both of those moments is just amazing for comic fans
Yep. Instead we continue to do this fanboy shit.

Yeah, I loved that bit. This new Lex is going to be fantastic!

I don't get the context or history behind that.. is there something more than just the line?

Shit someone should make a comparison gif showing that one BaleBat scene where he was fighting the armed guys who just randomly fell versus the 2 second scene of Batfleck fighting those armed dudes.

So you're 10 years old?

I really like Lex in this. Not sure about the rest; I like the "normal" batsuit but I really, really don't like the robosuit. I'm still having a hard time taking the Supes storyline seriously with him in court in full get-up.

Cautiously interested, I guess?

Maybe trailer is made to mislead but the way scenes played out I got a pretty strong impression of a "Superman gone bad" story (maybe even controlled by Lex).

Didn't even know the flash was in this, I thought it was just Batman, Superman, Wonderwoman and an Aquaman cameo?

The showed a Flash concept image at the very very beginning, either before or during the Green Lantern Corps thing.

Because he's the one on trial.... and not Clark Kent... going as Clark would defeat the purpose of the secret identity

Certain scenes, mostly the scenes with Superman's army, are from a dream sequence where Batman imagines what Superman could because if left unchecked.

I have goosebumps and I was teary eyed watching it.

It's the msot beautiful thing I've seen.

The potential of the Batfamily being included just makes me so goddamn excited and happy. If there is a Jason Todd, there is a Grayson and potentially, Barbara and Drake.

The robosuit is awesome, dude. Looks really cool, in my opinion.

The Supes scene might be cheesy, but it makes sense. I'm glad they didn't shove that Metropolis getting owned in MoS arc to the side.

Sooo... can someone TRY to explain to me what the hell is going on with Batman in the desert?

The classical pillars in the background have me wondering, could this be Themiscyra (home of WW)?

What in the name of Batman's nipples were they THINKING here?

The rest of the trailer was freaking awesome though.

Paper or plastic?
I'm not sold on Lex Luther either. Still, this and SS have me hyped for the DC universe.

And we're getting a Green Lantern Corps? Whew....

You are not the target demo.

What does this even mean?
It's only targeting people who want to have the current zeitgeist reflected in their superhero movies? Politics, senate hearings and the realistic (and grim) real life consequences of vigilantism and super heroes in our societies?
It should target an as broad as possible audience.

Save a baby out of burning building, let a weaker bad guy punch you in the face and say a witty oneliner. You know, the things heroes usually do. Heroic stuff.

Instead it is trying to lure people in with "iconic shots" and gravely voices, trying to deliver every line with such gravitas as if it were a Shakespear play. Our inherit reaction to this in a trailer is: "That looks awesome!" Because we asume the context for all this badass-ery will be given by the full movie.

I was fooled once, but not again.

The idea of retconning Superman's recklessness by creating a complete plotline of this oversight leaves me with extreme unease. Man of Steel doesn't work as a standalone movie and by trying to adress those glaring flaws in a sequel, it works even less than intended.

Suicide Squad though is just a cavalcade of throw-away characters few people care or know about to build acceptance for the lesser known villains of the DC Universe. Jared Leto as "new" Joker looks ridiculous but even ignoring him, or giving him the benefit of the doubt, I doubt that this poor-mans Guardians of the Galaxy will suceed.

It's sad to see DC fail so miserably delivering a solid movie for their tentpool characters.

My personal feeling is this is Bruces nightmare about how bad shit could get, I can't make sense of it otherwise.

I got that - but there's the Superman kneeling in front of Lex, and his entire speech during the battle + Cavill's expression during the fight scenes.
And for all we know Green Kryptonite has effects of Red in this movie universe...
