So is this 10 years after Nolans Bat trilogy then?

This is set twenty years after a bat flew in through Bruce Wayne's window and landed on a bust of his father.

Lol, it's really not.

This is just a Batman who's been at it for twenty years. He's not the same guy as Burton's Batman whose already been at it for a few years by the time of the first movie.

Burton's Batman was only at the very start of his career by the time of the first movie. Only a small handful of sightings and cases being connected to him. It was still only his first year, MAYBE second.

Hmm. I had my doubts that this movie would end up topping Man of Steel, but now I feel like it's legit possible. Awesome. Yes I'm one of the weirdos that fucking loved Man of Steel and consider it one of my favourite comic movies ever.

Lex has a weird look though. I'm sure I'll end up digging this take on the character, but yeah that look is really off putting.

After watching the trailer I realized how much I disliked Superman in MoS. During the trailer I was rooting for Batman all the way.

Part of me is like HOLY SHIT, but another part of me wonders how all these characters and plotlines are going to work together well enough to be a coherent movie.

But still HOLY SHIT

Holy hell, that is an awesome trailer. I have full confidence in Batfleck, I wonder how Wonder Woman fits into all of this though. Cannot wait!

The Wayne family murders? Again?

He's freaking Batman, everyone knows his origins. Spend that time developing Wonder Woman or Aquaman.

Do you know how Spider-Man got his powers?

A spider bit him and his uncle was shot and killed.

We may or may not see this again on the big screen within 20 years.

Ben Affleck is going to dethrone George Clooney aint he ? Obliterate it

Dat trademark expressionless. Dude's a king at doing that.

When he looks angry at the sky lol Looks like a kid on a child's play.

Flashback material for when he's sitting in his mansion and he's being haunted by visions of the past.

Probably before a Bat bursts through a window and he puts his suit back on.

I like this new Lex. He's the nowadays take on a CEO that clearly likes to pull all the strings while having fun observing as the shit goes down. It wouldn't surprise me if he's the one manipulating Superman into fighting Batman (and Wonder Woman).

It's Snyder. I believe in him doing a quick and stylish flashback montage (think Watchmen's "The Times They Are Changin'" or Sucker Punch's "Sweet Dreams Are Made of This").

this is victim blaming at it's finest. Superman didn't have a choice coming to Earth. for years he was living in anonymity living all over the world doing his hero thing in secret.
Zod and his gang are the ones who came to Earth wanting to wipe out everyone.

First, no one ever said humans are completely rational beings especially after being threatened with extinction. Second, even if they were to accept that Zod wasn't his fault that still leaves the problem of Superman himself existing and doing his own thing accountable to no one.

Wonder Woman continues to look bad in my eyes. Her suits colours are so subdued that it looks brown more than it does red, and I geneuinely think her build looks completely and utterly lacking for the role. She's closer to super model than super hero :/
