Yay, I'm also in the PC- and $300+ -club! Agree with you, but just saying digital is standard on PC now a days. Of course there are PC-gamers among all tiers that are not PS4 only.

I just wish they would tell us if the PC physical edition comes with a digital copy or not. I'm not saying I would resell it, but PC physical copies have no resell value once the key is used. I might end up making my $300 tier a physical PS4 copy and then creating another account for an $80 digital PC copy (I want those phone conversations & flashbacks on both versions!).

Well here it is guys,

In less than 19 hours the KS campaign will finally be over! It's felt like a rollercoaster over the past month. Starting with the huge, surprising announcement at E3, handling the misconceptions about Sony's involvement, questions of funding and budget. Records were broken and there was some trying times mid-campaign as the campaign sputtered. Through it all, if one thing remained constant it was the fans desire to see Shenmue and support it no matter what.

Suzuki described Shenmue III 'For the fans by the fans' and that adage couldn't be any more true given the outpouring of support and dedication that has occurred.

In tribute of the campaign's final hours I want to gather some of my favourite material, whether it be art-work, music, or videos so we can appreciate the first two games and anticipate the long-awaited third title while hopefully breaking a few more records

It's a testament to how much he really wants to make the game.

The game is 2 years away, and unlike Bloodstained/Yooka-Laylee, from what we know, they have not secured or finalised any publishing plans for the game at a retail level.

The fact that the retail PS4 disc thing came in mid-way through the project is obviously something they negotiated after the KS launched.

Maybe they'll find a publishing partner like Deep Silver or Devolver as the project becomes closer to being finished. Maybe Sony will publish it. But obviously nothing's confirmed at this stage.

The Shenhua image looks new but I played Shenmue 2 so long ago my memory could be failing me. Have a feeling they're going to pull out all the stops today. Pretty sure that render has been around since release of Shenmue.
