I don't think they can do so on Kickstarter. But they would be mad not to accept more pledges directly on their website. Then they would really get 10m.
I'm just happy that Yu will get another shot at Shenmue. I've always felt that Sega really undervalued him after the Dreamcast. If they had had a little more faith in him after, he could have been a real pillar for Sega post consoles just like Kojima was for Konami before they shafted him.
